I have read all the other reviews for this restaurant and everyone has valid points, but I think there are reasons for bad comments.
The food is fantastic, both Thai and European. The prices are very cheap for Thai food and confusing for European. Some snack type dishes are way over the top in price.eg, chicken nuggets are 150 baht, yet are a commercial product and so easy to prepare. Take the Chicken Stroganoff at 230 baht. ( I do not normally order Thai beef dishes as they tend to be a tad chewy) Generous portion, with a fantastic salad and dressing and either with mash or pasta. This is very good value as is all the main meal. I have yet to have a bad meal here. As for the service. It needs to be said, this is basically a German restaurant and the training has NOT been applied for friendliness. (need I go on) This is not a restaurant for a night out of gay abandon, but a night out to eat, eat and eat until you can not have another morsel.
I love the place for the food. Ohhhh... and I forgot to mention. Try the Mama soup. Thai style semi spicy broth, mama noodles, snow peas, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, mini corns and HUGE amount of chicken. At 70 baht, to my mind, the best meal and one could ever find and just so cheap.
