Had a fabulous 2-night stay at Villa Zolitude to celebrate my wedding anniversary. The villa itself was spacious and I love the wood tunes of the interior decoration with the right amount of lighting which makes it feel warm, cozy and romantic.

Housekeeping was done twice a day. Staff were generally very friendly, who were always smiling and helpful (except one who manned the buggy in the morning who wasn't very smiley and looked glum)

The resort was not very convenient but its easy to get a taxi to anywhere through the hotel reception. I had a session of spa and love the room setting which is opened to look at the greenery and a pond, but yet there is a net to prevent insects and it's airconditioned to counter the heat.

Breakfast spread was adequate with a good variety including great bakeries, sushi, freshly squeezed juice (different one every day). I love that the hot food is only prepared after you ordered from the ala carte menu. We tried congee, waffles, omelettes, and everything tasted so good, and the bacons were so crispy.

It's a pity I only stayed there for 2 nights, and will absolutely love to go back there one day!

First of all, I would like to say wow! It is always a pleasure to receive compliments from our valued guests. I am very pleased to hear that you have thoroughly enjoyed the essence and atmosphere that we aim to create for Villa Zolitude.

I will forward your warm words to our team and I am sure that they will be very pleased. As for the team member who manned the buggy, I will ensure he doesn't miss his daily dose of morning coffee in the future!

Our location makes us truly unique and it is a nice breather in the forest, away from the crowded cities.

We stayed in Villa Zolitude in April 2015 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The privacy and peace and quiet is a lovely contrast to other places in Phuket. The highlights are the staff and the service, very friendly and attentive, they even tried to arrange a speaker for music in our villa. It didn't work but the commitment to our needs were very sweet and everyone were so lovely.

Some of the facilities could need a slight refreshment and the "kitchen" in the villa could be a little bit more equipped, also the private In-villa dining could need a little bit more ambiance. Maybe some more candles so that you do not have to eat everything in the dark. This is a hotel far from the beaches and buzz in the rest of Phuket, which we really enjoyed but please keep this in mind if you are coming for a beach holiday in Thailand. We rented a car which was a great freedom, but the staff of Villa Zolitude are happy to arrange taxis and everything you could need during your stay.

I have stayed in many high-end resorts in Phuket and were looking for a simple getaway this time around and can highly recommend this little gem, hidden in the lush hills of Phuket, allowing all the privacy and relaxation needed.

I had the chance to be in Phuket for work, and chose to stay for 2 nights over a weekend here again in Villa Zolitude.

A shout-out to the amazing staff once again. The team remembered my Earl Grey preference and that I always prefer mangoes over other fruits.
A note of appreciation to their wonderful GM, who took time to reply my previous review

Overall, I like the rustic style here and the friendly welcoming service. The food during dinner is quite something too. We will come back again even if just for a meal

My husband and I stayed 3 nights for our honeymoon. We took the honeymoon package which was well worth it. We had transfer service from the villa and the driver that picked us up, Man, was really friendly and made an effort to speak to us despite his broken english.

Throughout our stay at the villa, EVERY single staff was friendly. Always willing to help and they seem very happy. Bank, the duty manager stood out to us. The pretty lady at the front of the restaurant every morning for breakfast remembered what tea we like. The buggy drivers were very helpful as well. We didn't manage to catch their names though.

Our in-villa dining was amazing. We requested for dinner at 8pm. At 7.30pm they came to set up and also arrived on time to deliver our food. Food was very delicious and came in big portions. Even the guys who delivered our food were friendly!

The theme of the place seems more oriental, so don't expect it to be modern and trendy. The ambience is really romantic. I used the bathtub every night and I loved it. It could easily fit 2 people in there.

The only downside to the villa is that there were snails and other little insects (as expected). But they were mostly near the pool and outdoor shower. So that didn't bother us too much.

Overall, we love Villa Zolitude and we intend to go back there annually if possible.

Room tip: Pick rooms 400+ for swimming pool without barrier

Dear Hazicat,

Congratulations on your recent wedding and from your Villa Zolitude family, may we wish you many years of happiness ahead for you both. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to review our ‘mountain paradise’ and what a pleasant review! The review is totally spot on as we pride ourselves on the friendliness of the entire team at Villa Zolitude. As I am sure you know great hospitality is not taught but it is a gift that a person is born with, and we like to encourage friendly interaction with all of your guests.

Because all of our villas have private pools the majority of our evening meals are in villa dining, as no one wants to leave the sanctity of the ‘home away from home’. I will pass on your comments regarding the in villa dining to our culinary team whom I am certain will be happy to know that we have another VZ foodie fan!

Once again may I wish you and your husband many years of happiness together and we all look forward to welcoming you both back on your next stay, possibly your first year anniversary, if not before.
