If you have not attended Monkeyland then you have not been into the forests of the Garden Route region. Quality guides, pro staff, credible education value, CUTE critters, just love the place....always a stop on my Garden Route Tour

“Good open (wooded) areas to wander with the primates”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2013

We thoroughly enjoyed wandering around here with a very knowledgeable guide. The monkeys / primates wander around very close to you you, and spend much of their time visiting the well stocked food tables also, so they are easy to find. We were also very lucky to see the gibbon, who is amazing as he swings through the trees. Also a treat to see the lemurs doing their yoga-sunbathing ! A great place to spend an hour or two, and although we didn't re-visit we were told our ticket would allow a return free of charge.

There is also a triple ticket which gets you into the Monkeyland/Birds of Eden/Jakanye (big cats etc) which makes for good value if you have time and interest in all three.

“Excellent!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2013

We loved our trip to Monkeyland. This is nothing like a zoo and a great outing. Feels like an adventure in the wild... Went with my husband and little girl. She loved every minute and followed our guide right on his heels. The tour is very informative and enjoyable. Great service as well!

“Monkey land - worth a visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2013 via mobile

Monkey land was not like I had imagined. It was very professionally organised. I was impressed by the guide. The hour went too fast. The monkeys were so much fun to watch. You are allowed to spend the whole day there on tours but I didn't have time. I think a tour should last 1.5 hours. We were a very small group - 3 tourists, 2 volunteers and a guide.
I would recommend to young and old. Enjoy!!

“Monkeys up close!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013 via mobile

We really enjoyed our trip through Monkeyland. Our guide was very informative and friendly. It was a pleasure to see these creatures at close quarters. Hats off to all the staff there for rescuing these monkeys and giving them a beautiful place to live.
