We had a very lucky day out at Monkeyland, seeing all 10 of the species the park contains. Even a brief glimpse of the funny faced gibbon and some spectacled monkeys as well as lemurs. The monkeys are free roaming on the reserve, no cages except for quarantine for new arrivals which is understandable. The monkeys seemed happy, healthy and very active, playing and roaming in groups.
We walked through bush along pathways with a guide looking for residents. When spotted, the guide was very knowledgeable about the monkeys/lemurs, even warning us about "territory marking" from above in time to avoid an unpleasant experience. The groups are kept small, and it was easy to hear all the guide had to say.
My only complaint was I wish we could have walked around a bit longer. The time seems a bit too short, it was too interesting to quit when we did.

Thank you for sharing those amazing photos with us. I would just like to mention that your ticket is a WHOLE DAY ticket and you can go on as many tours as you like. You can even take a break and go to the beach or something and then head back to us for another tour as long as it is on the SAME day! I thank you for in a way reminding me of that so that I may remind future clients of that wonderful aspect of our tickets! But I am glad that you did get to see all 10 free roaming species! Lucky you!
