“Thank Google for finding me this place it was fantastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2010

Great place to stay and explore South Wales. Near to Tenby in the heart of Camarthanshire. We were visiting Family in St Clears and were fed up staying in the smelly and damp Travelodge on the bypass. So for less than the price of that place we found Llety Cynin.

The hotel is situated on a Farm made from a conversion of an old coach house. The proprietor met us on arrival and checked us in. There are 8 rooms - our double was decorated and furnished in modern and tasteful style with the usual en-suite (massive shower) and big bed. Flat screen TV. Tea - cofee etc and a lovely Welsh cake.

There was a communal lounge to sit in the evening with leather sofas and larger TV.

There is also a modern large kitchen which can be used for self catering. Breakfast was served there cooked by the hotel and was fabulous.

On top of all this for the fabulous price there is a lovely pool - sauna - jacuzzi - gym and health centre. The pool and facilities are up there with many 5 start spar resorts I have stayed in like Marriot etc.

Then to top it all is the beautiful and tranqiul setting (including the cows) and the very helpful and friendly staff (all of them).

Locally St Clears is a decent small town with a pub showing the football and several places to eat. Saundersfoot is 20 mins and is a quaint seaside - harbour town - Camarthen is 10 minutes and Swansea about 30 mins away.

Will definitely go there again next time we hit Wales.

“My Stay In St Clears (S Wales)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2010

Working away is never easy! But staying in the Llety Cynin (5 Star ) guest house makes that little bit easier. Having a very clean and very comfortable en-suite room with the use of the swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and gym, i would highly recommend this place to anyone. The service is second to none, they just can't do enough for you to ensure your stay is to the highest standard, I even brought my wife and little boy up here to stay as well, he loved looking at the "moo cows" as he calls them.
I have been staying here for nearly 4 weeks now and still love it here.

Quiet, relaxing and comfortable with friendly, helpful service. Adjoining pool, spa and gym free for guests' usage. Good breakfast, snacks and bar service available and/or use of the well equipped kitchen adjacent to the guests' lounge. Large area for easy parking. Very good value.

“A REAL GEM OF A HIDEAWAY”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 10, 2009

This is a lovingly redeveloped old coach house, brought back into the 20th century, whilst still maintaining an old worldly charm. It has some great luxury leisure facilities added into it, including swimming pool, sauna, gym etc all of which are very well designed and thought out. All of which have been quite recently installed and maintained to a high standard.

This really is 'a real gem of a hideaway', even when the weather in November can be a bit brisk and is open to the elements this accommodation is the perfect place to come in from the cold. The staff were a delight and very helpful, without ever being over bearing, allowing yourself to relax in the very comfortable surroundings. Breakfast was pre-arranged and there was a complete selection to choose from everything you could possibly want, all local produce and cooked to a very high standard in a relaxed manner.

This is a great location for anyone wanting to base themselves to explore the south west of Wales. Myself and my wife spent the day in the Gower before checking in to stay over night there as a B&B, before going to a family event the next day.

LLETY CYNIN lends itself to both a romantic retreat for couples, or group bookings which would work even better. Where you could perhaps take over all eight double rooms - use the leisure facilities and self cater for yourselves in the purpose build, very modern huge kitchen with very high ceilings, and all mod cons. Large additional rooms are also available to be used if required for groups on either work conference, training, or simply relaxation days.

I will definitely look to visit there again with a group of friends in this way, what more can I say........ a great retreat away from the city......... very highly recommended.
