“A delightful Midlands experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

This restaurant has a charming setting facing a small waterfall and river. It is surrounded by green and country roads, and even some cattle in the distance. The food is simple, wholesome and delicious, prepared with lots of care and attention. My partner had the burger, which he said was one of the best he has tasted. The patty was high quality. I had a chicken pie which was homely and delicious. It is well worth the stop.

“Ecxellent Food and Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013

The food was just YUM. What was really impressive though was the service. We arrived without a booking and all the tables were already reserved. Staff immediately made a plan and accommodated us. The view is magnificent and the service was outstanding.

“Great Food, great view”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013

The food is of an excellent quality with an extensive (and not expensive) wine list. Service is good. The restaurant overlooks a old waterfall used for milling services in the past - a very nice setting indeed.

“A dash of romance with a touch of class !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 23, 2012 via mobile

Nestled away a few kilometers off the R103 you will find this romantic setting with a beautiful small but bustling waterfall. Enroute, there are two river crossings through rollings hills clad with splattering of cows and abundant bird life. Upon arrival to the resturant, you will be met by warm African smiles and midlands hospilatily. Try and get a seat along the patio where you will get the best views of the waterfall. Have your cameras ready as there are friendly fish that occasionally jump out of the water to greet you too. Enjoy the excellant country setting with your accompaning well prepared cusine. We found this place by chance and were entrapped by its charm.
