“Not to be missed!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2014

My family had lunch at Le Chaudron while skiing in the area last week. They enjoyed it so much the rest of the family strapped on their snow shoes and hiked up for lunch the next day. The restaurant was busy but Sandie and the staff were so accommodating even the children were happy. There were so many great choices on the menu it was hard to choose - the food was fantastic and the atmosphere fun.

“Superb!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2013

A fabulous and personal welcome awaits at this stunning mountain location.
Nicolas,Sandie, and Vincent have cleverly brought together old world charm with a contempory twist!
The best quality of dishes...everything freshly made to order, delicious local, and international food, from a very varied menu.
Nothing is too much trouble, and the service is excellent..
Le Chaudron is most certainly one of the best, if not the best ,restaurant that the Portes du Soleil has to offer!
We are eagerly looking forward to our next visit.

“A Montriond MUST!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2013

Le Chaudron sets itself apart from the otherwise typical alpine restaurants in this altitude village by serving excellent food from a menu that marries traditional regional dishes with a more gourmand touch to the execution. The staff is energetic, friendly and goes out of their way to make your experience perfect. We visisted twice during our stay and once came with an army of children of all ages and had a relaxed, delicious and fun lunch.
An absolute must if you are staying in the Porte de Soleil area!

“Simply fabulous”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

The food here is superb, presentation excellent and prices incredibly reasonable for a mountain restaurant in such a great spot. The restaurant is situated in the famous 'goat village of Les Lindarets', in the resort of Avoriaz. It has new owners, Sandie and Vincent who are just adorable and I think it's their special touch that makes this place an absolute must. An address to remember, just make sure you remember to book !

“A warm welcome and tasty food awaits you here!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

This is a great new addition to/reinvention of one of the cluster of restaurants situated at Les Lindarets just below the top of the Ardent cablecar. Sandie and Vincent took the place over at the begining of the last winter season, and the restaurant offers great food, beautifully presented, and a tremendous wine list. It's not your usual standard savoyard fare, but great bistro-type nosh instead. A fabulous terrace awaits you on a sunny day, summer or winter, so go and check it out. You won't be disappointed!
