We were warmly welcomed by the excellent waiting staff who were friendly and attentive throughout. We had a couple of drinks in the sun whilst we were waiting for friends to arrive. A very convenient meeting place as it turned out, just below the top of the Ardent bubble and in the Les Lindarets bowl. Some of our party had been to lessons (from Avoriaz) and this was a quick blue or red piste away from their drop off.
The waitresses quickly readied a table inside for our party of 14 people as the weather began to turn for the worse and we moved inside to eat. We had a range of food from the adult and children's menu and we all enjoyed it enormously. Very honest food, cooked well with good flavour and for reasonable prices. The menu was wide enough for us all to be satisfied and ranged from traditional Savoyard to faux fillet (and chips!) The only niggle here is that the entrecôte advertised was a pretty standard rib-eye and cooking "saignant" wasn't quite enough for it.
We enjoyed our wine and had our Poire William digestif on the terrace seating as the weather had improved by then and the kids wanted to make a igloo and ski The Stash.
Overall, a really good find at the end of the season and somewhere we will be sure to return to next year.
