“Another awesome dinner!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2012 via mobile

We both enjoyed appetizers, mason course, dessert, and tea. Everything is fresh and local. I just love that it is real food prepared fresh every time. Every visit to Envers is always awesome! Try the Cornish hen. Delicious! As always, they fully accommodate for my allergy. It is worth the drive to Morristown. Thanks to chef and the serving staff for another great night.

Your garden and patio look great!

“a wonderful little restaurant in Morriston..”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2012

My husband and I went there for our anniversary on friday evening August 3rd. We were told many times about how good the place was so we finally decided to check it out. The food was amazing, the wine they recommended was spot on and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was very nice, not too stuffy and perfect for an evening of celebration. We liked it so much we were there for four hours and didn't even realize it.
I would definitely recommend visiting this place but be sure to check out the menu beforehand as it changes often.
Can't wait to come back!

“An Exceptional Restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2012

We took my parents to Enver's for their anniversary. Making a reservation was easy and we had a lovely table waiting for us when we arrived. We started with a tasting platter of appies - they were all exceptional. We each ordered a different dish and we all agreed that they were excellent. I had the fish, which was delicious. I tasted my mom's Cornish Hen, which was also delicious. The wine was excellent and our server was very friendly and attentive. We were slightly disappointed with the cheese plate ... there was very little actual cheese, but those on the plate were lovely. The restrooms are clean and well decorated. The price is definitely on the high side, but you absolutely get your money's worth. A perfect choice for a special occasion!

“Best local restaurant I would recommend”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012

This is a very fine restaurant. A little on the expensive side, but the food and ambience are 10 out of 10.
Lunches are just a little more than a regular good restauant would be. For example this dish,
Barbeque braised beef shortrib & caramelized onions stuffed in a yorkshire pudding with Harley blue cheese served with a side salad or fries is just $15!

And this is a dinner item, Roasted saddle of Ontario lamb stuffed with mergueze and olives over saffron rice with grilled artichokes Marcona almonds, passila chili emulsion and natural jus
for $35.

The food is as good as it gets, and always friendly informative service.

“Exceptional Dining.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2012

I recently took the opportunity to reset my personal standard for restaurant expectations with a visit to Enver’s of Morriston. Ever been there? If you enjoy highly skilled cooking professionally served in a welcoming environment, you must go and experience Enver's. See if you don't think like me, "Why can't more restaurants be this good?" They make it seem so easy.

Enver’s is hidden away in a century-old building in the tiny hamlet of Morriston. It is comfortable and quiet as long as you don’t sit by the front windows due to the constant truck traffic passing by. In winter, try to avoid being anywhere near the entrance, or wear gloves.

The cooking is an inventive blend of traditional and contemporary styles which i define as simply wonderful. I think of it as a combination of Toronto’s Canoe, North 44 and Jamie Kennedy Wine Bar but with free parking (on the street around the corner) and lower prices.

The menu is ever changing so I won't go into too much detail except to say everything was enjoyed, particularly Chef Ken Hodgins' pan fried rabbit rillettes and his superb duck liver paté with the accompanying onion confit, fig and port chutney, and mustard-pickled cauliflower.
Go and experience the vast array of flavors and textures a menu with just 5 appetizers and 7 mains can provide when they are intelligently planned and competently prepared from specially selected local sources.

Reservations advised on weekends.
