“beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2013

We love falls, we visited 3 falls in the Bryson City, NC area & one in Cherokee. All were easy to get to & very picturesque. We were lucky in that many of the kids in the area seemed to still be in school so we were able to enjoy the peacefulness of the sceneries without screaming kids! If you are ever in either area these falls are a must see.

Mingo Falls in Cherokee, then Juney whank, Tom Branch & Indian Creek Falls in Bryson City, NC

“Short hike, actually 3 waterfalls and beautiful!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2013

Juney whank falls is a very short hike up a steep hill. If you go a little further you can see Tom branch and Indian creek falls, all are beautiful! Worth the hike for such a short distance . In the summer months you can see people coming down the river on tubes. There is a nice picnic area and the bathrooms were very clean!

“Easy hike, nice falls”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2013

Very short steep hike to a wonderful water fall that can be enjoyed from a bridge that crosses over. Reminded me of Laurel Falls with less crowds and a shorter hike.

“Three Waterfalls on One Trail”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2013

The location of this trail is a quick ride from Bryson City, NC. The nice thing about this trail is that you are able to see three different waterfalls on one hike. They are the Juney Whank Falls, Deep Creek Falls, and Toms Falls. The hike isn't that bad as the first falls are approximately 0.3 miles from the parking area. The others are about a mile from there. The falls are not by any means the largest that you can see; but they are definitely a must if you are in the area. The hike is a little steep in some areas. Note that no pets are allowed on this trail as this is a part of the Smokey Mountains National Park and there are some slightly slippery areas. Across the street from the parking area is a picnic/recreation area which is situated along the river. Between Bryson City and this area, you travel along the river; therefore, there are many tubing outfitters located roadside as well.
