We visited this restaurant on Saturday night, having reserved our table prior to our visit. The service was poor we waited a long time to even get a drink. On ordering the wine we asked for a bottle of Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon 13.5% priced at £17.00, we were then brought a bottle of Italian white wine, we then pointed out on the wine menu the wine we had asked for & was then given an Italian Red at 12.5%. By this time we had been seated at our table 30 minutes without a drink and again given the wrong wine, we decided to stay with this wine & presumed by the alcohol percentage and the taste this was a £12.00 bottle of house wine.
On the arrival of the bill we had been charged £17.00 for the wine, I called the waitress over to ask if this was the house wine to which she just replied "No it isn't" & promptly walked off, I then called her over again & said this wasn't the Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon we had ordered & was a cheap wine. At that moment the manager came over & said the Chilean wine they were advertising they don't sell anymore & this was the substitute, I knew by his manner I wasn't going to get anywhere with this, so paid & got out. I am sure they cannot advertise one wine and substitute for a cheaper version, All in all it wasn't a very nice experience and will not be visiting again!!
