We're still on Cloud 9 after taking this half day excursion two days ago. This was our sixth vacation to St. Martin and the Keloa trip was certainly a highlight. You'll take a tour of the magnificent west coast of St. Martin, with an idyllic swimming experience and fantastic snorkeling thrown in. The captain, Jean Marc, is a friendly and laid back tour guide. He knows when to slow down so you can take in the scenery and when to rev the motor to exhilarate. If you have your own party of seven, he will tailor the tour to your taste. There was ample shade and the boat is very comfortable. It's also bigger than the photos show with nice cushions. Jean Marc provides beverages and snorkeling gear. You'll see wildlife along the shore and lots of aquatic life. Jean Marc adds some nice touches. When we got to Simpson Bay he lined up Keloa so we were right under a plane coming in for a landing at Juliana airport; it was so low we felt like we needed to duck. And, when we stopped to swim in the most beautiful, serene spot with sparkling clear water and angel fish all around, Jean Marc pulled the boat as close to shore as possible so the novice swimmer on board could feel comfortable getting in the water. This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in St. Martin.
