Just returned from 3 weeks at this site and had a great time. The staff were all very nice and helpful and the site was tidy and clean. The pool area has plenty of loungers and is great to cool off in however it isn't supervised and hardly anyone observed the rules about speedos and not diving and jumping in etc etc. As it was very quiet, not a problem but in high season this could cause a problem with very small ones, best to keep them in the little pool. The pitches are spacious and relatively private with high hedges, however a lot of French people own their own mobiles on this site and these are mixed in with the likes of Canvas, Keycamp etc and they like their dogs! Expect some barking and yapping, we saw no evidence of fouling though on site. Another complaint was the noise from the main road. It is very busy and although goes quiet at in the evening after 7pm its busy in the morning rush. This is no fault of the site but was not mentioned by our tour operator, if you are away from the front perimeter wall it shouldn't be a problem. When we were there many pitches were empty and the tennis court was free and very often empty. Table tennis was free too and bats and balls in the local Super U are cheap. This is located about 3 mins away by car. The campsite shop sells the basics and as you would expect is expensive but it is convenient if you want bread and croissants.Unfortunately there is no on site restaurant, only a take away which we tried only once but it wasn't overly dear and during the footie you could get a basic pizza and a pint for 10 euros whilst you watched the telly which wasn't a bad deal. The drinks in the bar are not any dearer than any other local bar but in low season its soul less and akin to drinking in a library. Access to the site is by barrier key, it was great not being asked for a 10 euro deposit and as it was attached to our mobile home key you didn't forget it. Overall a great site especially in the low season. One last thing, whilst we were at the pool, I, being a good citizen did as requested and left my flipflops outside on the rack. When I returned they had been stolen! My husband's decent sandals remained and my four year old, non designer flipflops nicked. Old they may have been but they were comfy, you've been warned.Take your things poolside in a carrier.
Try a pitch away from the main road and campsite thoroughfare.
