What an amazing, mystical, magical place. We were camping & although the camping space is a little limited, we had a good shady spot near the ablutions. The only negative thing to say about these is the plumbing. If the showers & sinks are all being used at the same time, the water stops until someone turns off a tap which can be very frustrating. They are kept extremely clean however & the trick is to time showering when nobody else is. Simple!
We enjoyed Samango monkey neighbours every day & walked in the forests with the noisiest cicadas (Sun beetles I think) we've ever heard. Amazing. Had a wonderful hot rock massage at the Beauty Hut, swam & sunned at the great pool, climbed the scary treehouse with its fantastic views & sat in the clifftop bath with a panorama to die for. The hikes are beautiful, the Fairy Realm meander takes you back to childhood, fantastic photographic gallery with its own Stone Henge & Labrynth, cutest theatre ever & pottery barn - can't wait to see their outdoor theatre next time we visit (& we will), what's not to love?
A week is not enough. So much to see & do - and do nothing too. Sundowners at the bar guarantee meeting fascinating people & Dan himself, font of all knowledge who makes sure you see the rare Cape parrots as they pass overhead. Bliss.
