“Lovely place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2013

We arrived here after a long drive from Skye on a tour of Scotland. Very pleased to be greeted by friendly and polite staff who showed us to our lovely room. Very clean and spacious with great selection of drinks to make! The bar downstairs was great and we decided to stay and eat in the restaurant which was a great decision! The menu was excellent and the service matched!
Spent the evening talking to a lovely German couple who were hilarious!
Breakfast the next morning was great and finished off a terrific stay!
We would love to come back!!

What a find!!

Delicious food, beautifully presented by friendly and polite staff. The menu is varied and good quality Scottish produce well represented. Realistic prices and a super wine list. Try out the speciality gins. Without a doubt an Inn to visit again.

Recommended.

We stayed here on the way back from a visit to the western highlands. We were worried about it being a bit touristy or gimmicky, but no. This is a decent Inn with friendly service and good food. I would have given a higher mark if they hadn't run out of mussels. Other choices were good, but I'd geared myself up to having a bowl of steaming mussels. We just got to the restaurant too late! A good breakfast the next day too. Unusual choices.

Room was fine. Functional and clean.

This was the first stop of our tour of Scotland and it was excellent. The setting is brilliant. It's a small hotel with rooms over the bar/restaurant. The rooms were very comfortable, well kitted out with good en-suites. We ate in the restaurant early evening and the food was very good - bit portions. The bar is well stocked and the staff very friendly. The only minor downside is that there is a bit of noise from the restaurant/bar when you are in your room at night.

My wife and I stayed at the Loch Ness Inn for 4 nights in July. Hotel was nicely presented and the rooms were very comfortable. I must say the food was excellent. We had originally planned to eat out at different places each night but the food was so good that we ate in the hotel restaurant every night! Breakfast was also very good.

The hotel is located in an attractive location and just a short walk to the local amenities. The only negative that I could think of was that the bar was very noisy on Friday and Saturday night but this is to be expected as it is a public bar.

Great inn, very homey. We loved the bar and the restaurant. The food was excellent. In fact it's hard to get a reservation some nights due to its popularity. Great place for families. Only down side is no view of lake and hard to walk to it.

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend break to Loch Ness. Our room was really nice and very clean. We had booked a table for dinner on the Saturday evening and the food was amazing, had 3 courses and each course honestly was fantastic. Breakfast was a traditional Scottish breakfast with good quality products. Hotel is very well located with some lovely walks nearby and the Loch Ness Centre is only a few minutes away. Would highly recommend and will defiantly stay here again!
