Stayed here for a week with my boyfriend end of august beginning of september.
The hotel is directly situated on the 14km long beach. Two room apartment with a nice balcony. Everything was really good. Nothing to complain about really.
If I have to complain about anything it would be that you can always hear your neighbours when theyre in the bathroom, when they take a shower or flush.
And also be prepared that basically all restaurants are really expensive.
We ate mostly at Restaurante Chivas and Restaurante Elisa (not far away from Las Gaviotas hotel) where you eat overlooking a big lake and the food is amazing there.
If you don't have any food included and want to cook yourself I would recommend food shopping at Eroski.. It takes about 10-15 mins(about two bus stops from Eden alcudia) to walk there but the prices are more humane than the one near the hotel.
Or just take the bus to Lidl (near Port d alcudia).
We also went to the national park S'Albufera but there was not a lot to see. They do not rent out bikes in there so I would recommend to rent a bike before going in there. I wish we had known that so we could have gone through the whole national park. We saw a few birds and that was about it. Walked for 6km in there so we were very disappointed. But its free entrance. Take the buses 351,352 or 354 and
get off after 5-6 stops at Parc Natural.
Another tip is to go to Port d Alcudia. Take bus 351,352 or the bus that says Alcudia market. 1,55euro each the bus ride costs. We went to the market on a Sunday. But they also have a small market on Tuesdays i think
it was not far from the hotel.
Overall I would gladly go back. Its not a party place so more for a relaxing week for couples or family.
The hotel has a small pool but it was never packed so it was great to swim there too.
