“Lovely staff and great food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2013

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 10 days, all inclusive at the end of July. The weather was amazing, the location was quiet but had a lovely local beach just 10-15 minute walk away and the old town of Alcudia just 10 minutes walk, which is lovely for a walk around in the evening and a nice meal at night.
The main part of Alcudia is just a 5-10 minute taxi drive away and costs about 5 euros to get there so really cheap and the hotel can book this for you.
The staff at the hotel are really friendly and helpful. They do most of their entertainment in french, but try to accommodate to all languages and make the effort with every guest at the hotel.
The food is superb and varies in choice each day so you will never get bored at what is on offer.
The rooms are basic but are kept very clean and towels changed every day.
The pool is nice and cool and deep enough to swim in and there was never a problem getting a bed by the pool in the day.
This hotel is nice if you want a relaxing, quiet holiday, with good food and not too much nightlife close by, but the option to go and enjoy it as and when you wish.
I would recommend to family and friends.

My girlfriend and I wanted a (relatively) cheap and stress-free holiday. We found the reviews for this place, checked the prices and booked directly. We also booked our flights independently. Total cost was just £1,100 for a week's all-inclusive including transfers and an upgrade to a sea-view room - overall, having now returned from the holiday, we felt that this was a bargain.

We arrived rather late and were checked-in quickly and shown to the restaurant where a dinner had been saved for us. This was very welcome! Took us 50 minutes to get here from Palma airport.

Our room was fairly basic, but clean. There was a TV (with British TV channels BBC1, 2 and ITV), bath, shower, wardrobe and a safe. Decor was a bit old-school but, as stated, it was very clean. Our beds were fine, but the pillows were a little thin and hard - only one pillow each so ask at reception for another if you want two.

The hotel overall is very nice. The place is kept very clean by their hard-working cleaners. Decor is OK. There's a large swimming pool and the hotel itself is right on the beach that is only used by this and 1 other hotel. The beach is very clean and the water is very calm. The old-town nearby (10-15 minute walk or 5 euro in a taxi) is a really, really beautiful 'old town' surrounded by a huge old wall that you walk around on. There is a market on a Tuesday and Sunday (arrive early and miss the crowds) selling the usual tourist tat - but also selling local goods, produce and nicer gifts.

It's an all-inclusive hotel and the food was very good. The standard and quality is good. There was an lot of choice. For example, one lunch-time I had a bit of everything; burger, chips, ratatouille, salmon, pork chop, salad and a rice-pudding. If I was staying for more than a week I would probably have had to have been rolled out of the door! There would definitely be food here suitable for everyone.

Drinks are all served in small (250ml) plastic cups but you can help yourself to as much alcoholic or soft-drinks as you like: on tap there was vodka, whiskey, gin, rum, beer, coca-cola, diet coke, Fanta, tonic, water, etc, etc...

At this point, I have to mention that the hotel is owned by Thomson's French arm. So, the vast majority of people here are French. Not that that is an issue because (handy for us English-speakers!) everyone speaks English! There wasn't a moment that I felt left-out of any activities (more on this below) or felt anything other than very welcomed by the French workers or guests here. If anything, we found that more of an effort was made to include us because we weren't French.

The entertainment is top-notch. I really enjoyed the shows and activities that were put on. The activities went on all day and you could join in as much or as little as you liked. My partner and I really just wanted to lay by the pool all day and relax completely, but we were asked personally by the guys and girls if we would like to join in every single time that there was something happening (like volleyball, football, aqua-gym, step-aerobics, boules, darts, rifle-shooting, walks, hikes, etc, etc...). We couldn't believe the effort that was made to accommodate the minority of English speakers. For example, in the evening when there was entertainment, everything would be announced and repeated in French and then English (and even Spanish). There was only one evening where it was impossible for them to translate everything (because it was a comedy show) but this was explained to us English and an alternate entertainment show was put on elsewhere - this was really going the extra mile. The entertainment staff here were simply brilliant.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. We had a lovely time with very, very little to moan about. I would definitely return here again.

We were overbooked for the first day & had to stay at Hi Condes for one day- my knightmare holiday ! Overpacked pool,. towels on sunbeds but no bodies on them !! A dingy damp room -

However the Panoramic -our party of six (3 couples) were relocated to our originally destination of Hi Panny.. What a perfect change of location after experiencing the Condes!!

It's Lovely...& was so pleasantly pleased after our start to the holiday.!!

Hotel - Staff nice & friendly. - Hotel clean, neat & furnished nicely !

Beach - You are overlooking a beautiful bay, lovely uncrowded beach and the bar is only steps away !

Food - The food was good, very good in fact for a 3 *...all three, brekkie,, lunch & dinner.
I am extremely fussy but every day I found something I'd like. My only criticism of the food was that the evening meal was a bit repetitive of the lunchtime menu... also you don't have to dress up, ie fella's don't need to wear trousers.

Rooms - The rooms are airy & spacious & cleaned daily with fresh towels.

Pool- The pool is clean & a decent size. Plenty of sunbeds- if you can get your towel on them before 8am!! Otherwise you won';t get one

Entertainment- Great if you are French.!! But absoluetly zero if you are from the UK;
The entertainment leader will ask at the beginning of the night " Any English" all the Uk peops indicate yes with a hands up signal- only to be informed the entertainment will be in french, !
OMG Why Ask ??? They did a 'French scetch night' all in french- did'nt have a clue what it was about..It lasted for an hour'n'half.. I was searching for a noose !!!!!!!!!! so proper crap for entertainment ! in otherwords very poor !

Just for info - & my little moan re: all inclusive- .
Beach Towels are not provided..
No snacks during the day.- really NONE !!!
Bar closes at 11.30- so if you want to sit drinking till 1-2am- then load your table up with booze.
All drink vending machines are turned off from 11.30 pm- so no soft drinks-or even coffee & tea machine - so nothing until breakfast !

Outside -A little shop for essentials... A little bar across the road... A Englishy bar Red Rum up the road.
You'll have to get a cab into town if you want shops, noise, restaurants, bars.

Overall good holiday with perfect pals-

Room Tip: Overlooking the beach- you reall feel the holiday vibe !

Booked with Thomas Cook, I think if the travel agent had told us it mostly catered for French people we would have thought twice ! My daughter was bored most evenings as 90% of the entertainment was French ! The only good thing was that the hotel was on the beach, the food was o.k. We were out of the way a bit, it was a 15 minute walk to Old Alcudia town, which was a lovely town and a 30 minute walk to the new Alcudia, worth walking to !
The hotel was clean and staff were friendly and helpful.
I don't think I'd go again though, only because I'd rather go to somewhere with English entertainment :(

We had 10 days at the Hi Panoramic. It is a beautiful location, perfect little beach to walk on with only one other hotel close by. 15 minute walk to the old town which is great, nice little beaches around to walk to when you want to get out and about. Two small supermarkets nearby aswell. The Red Rum pub close by is perfect for a lovely evening out, as are the places to eat in the old town if you want a break from the hotel.

The hotel itself is good, but needs some basic updates.

Food was good. Always a good variety at breakfast and lunch, with meats, salads, bread, rices etc and even a little cooking station one night. There were also 2 themed days for food-Mexican and Spanish. Other guests were a little ruder at times, actually taking the serving spoon from my hand at times or just pushing past. There are no specific seating times or organisation to getting in there. One night we couldn't get a table at all.

Hotel staff are friendly and offer lots of things to do- volleyball, football, walks, darts, water gym etc so lots to keep you buys if you want to take part. Yes they are French speaking and Spanish but we liked that as didn't want to be surrounded by the typical 'Brit' abroad. The bar has plenty of drinks to offer-soft drinks, all wines, beer, sangria, slush puppies for kids and slushy cocktails which were fab. There was also 2 coffee machines. AI starts at 10am and finishes 11.30.

Entertainment was loud. Music started at 9.45am and finished at 11.30pm. When you want a quiet relax by the pool, it just wasn't possible. Kids running around and jumping in the pool screaming, entertainment activities. We preferred to sit in the small grass area nearer the beach which was better. Going in the pool was not possible for a swim due to it being so busy. The children's pool mentioned is 2x2m so more of a baby pool. The pool was not big enough to accommodate all needs of adults and chn. We dipped in for maybe 2 minutes at a time. Also their rule of no inflatables was ignored and guest used them all the time in the pool. Sun beds also got reserved for hours on end with no sign of anyone appearing (again, another rule ignored).

Rooms were basic. They need improving. The shower was a dribble at best. You couldn't flush the loo or run a tap whilst the shower was on as it would stop. The beds were terribly uncomfortable, more like camp beds. The air con was practically useless. If these things were changed, it could be a 4* hotel. Maids came in every day and made bed, emptied bin and swept. Towels were also changed and beds twice during our stay.

On our departure at 6.50am, the breakfast room was closed but they did offer us coffee which was lovely.

I would go back to this hotel for the location, but only if the shower, beds and air con were improved.

Room Tip: Rooms with sea views are stunning BUT are over the noisy pool and entertainment area which is noisy...

We stayed here for 2 nights as we took advantage of an offer allowing us to visit a busier part of Majorca that my husband wished to try. When we arrived at the hotel we arrived after evening meal, so the receptionist kindly opened the restaurant for our party. The hotel was and rooms were very clean but basic. The entertainment was in French, but I didn't see this as a problem. All staff were welcoming and enthusiastic. The location was beautiful, right on the beach, very quiet( but I liked that!). The food was delicious and I would consider myself to be a fussy eater. All in all, a very pleasant relaxing stay.

My other half and i came here for 5 days for our honeymoon. Hotel is very clean, staff friendly and food was absolutely delish, all inclusive drinks were fab to. The only drawback is it is a french hotel, so the entertainment was mostly in french but staff did try their best to get everyone involved. The hotel is situated right on a small (man made) beach which was the highlight for us as the scenery was breathtaking. If you wanted to go right into the heart of Alcudia it was a 15 min walk or 7 Euros in a taxi. We will definitely be bk except with the kids next time.

Room Tip: All rooms have balconys and are very clean
