“A warm welcome awaits you!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2013

We stayed at the Wanderer's as part of our honeymoon trip down the east coast. We stayed in both the treehouse and a cottage. The treehouse is a fine example of a marriage between a love of the outdoors and luxury accommodation. The morning views are lovely, crisp sunlight streaming in when you choose to open the blinds. The fluffy robes were a welcome touch after our long travels, as was the spa bath and fantastic powerful shower lots of hot water, fluffy towels and complimentary goodies that make you feel well looked after. The kitchen facilities were really comprehensive -really you couldn't want for anything more. Just pack some food and you're good to go!

The cottages are the same, a few less luxuries than the treehouse but they offer greater proximity to wildlife.....we've seen a kangaroo that comes to say hello, a koaola and several cheeky as you like possums! The cottages are well kitted out and secluded from onlookers. Fab porch to sit out and enjoy a great BBQ-treehouse also has BBQ. The cottages are quite spacious and are great for families and couples alike. There is also a pool that is well maintained- in fact I thought it was newly fitted!

The location is brilliant, a tiny walk and you're at a picturesque beach, peaceful and not overcrowded.

The owners couldn't be more helpful, warm and welcoming. We have enjoyed our stay immensely and recommend anyone to get away from it all by staying at Wanderer's!

Room Tip: Stay in a treehouse!!! Don't feed the wildlife.... The possums are cheeky enough!!!

We,ve rented the big house with the spa with friends and kids. We've had a great time The place is super clean, cosy, and very well equiped. The house is pretty big and very comfortable: We were 9 people in the house and we did not feel packed at all. The huge balcony with the spa was the cherry on top! The managers were also very pleasant. They were truly doing their best so that we spend a great time. The Kids had fun spotting Koala and possums; Expectations exceeded: Will go back there for sure!

Enjoyed our stay here immensely. Brought a voucher through "groupon" wasn't sure what to expect but our expectations were exceeded.

Management and staff were helpful and extremely pleasant. Kids loved seeing the visiting kangaroo, Josephine. And everyday of our stay we went koala spotting.

Would highly recommend. Cosy and quiet. Grounds were tidy. And close to beach.

Would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends. Will stay again

We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary here for 5 nights in a beautiful treehouse. When searching for the perfect place to stay I wanted it to have a double spa, include luxuries like champagne, chocolates & fluffy bathrobes. Also to be in a location that has beach, walks, lookouts & a place to 4 wheel drive & this ticked all the boxes. Thanks to Ian & Jane for suggesting the best restaurants & places to go. We had an amazing time & would highly recommend for couples, The koalas & friendly possums was a nice touch also.

Room Tip: Go for a tree house.

When we stayed here the weather turned bad but our cottage was cosy and warm. The wildlife came to visit us. It is located close to the wonderful beaches. Our hosts were out to make sure we missed nothing in our short stay and indicated a preferred list on a map. We did all the walks we could fit in but the weather wasnt amenable to whale watching or beach driving so we will have to return. loved it

The location was fantastic but when we arrived there was no gas bottle for the barbque, no extra towels as promised and no extra blankets if it turned cold. Well we are home now and there was no gas bottle, no extra towels and no extra blankets we were promised. They need to inform guests of drop toilets as it is not mentioned on the web sight. Won't be back.
