“Best Family All-Inclusive Resort!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2013

We have been visiting all-inclusive resorts for the last 13 years in Mexico and Jamaica. This is, by far, the best all-inclusive resort we have stayed at. It is truly a 5 star resort. We enjoyed our vacation here so much that we are already planning another vacation there in the winter.
The resort is new, clean and gorgeous. The common areas are amazing! The pools are immaculate! I don't know how they keep their pools so clean and all without the disgusting smell of Clorox. The suites are very functional for families and the resort does a great job to cater to families with small kids. We were able to pack light because a washer & dryer were provided in every suite, which was very convenient with a child.
Food was awesome-best of all the resorts we have visited. Our favorites were the Davino Restaurant for dinner (Adrian was our favorite waiter there) and Bites & Grill restaurant for lunch since you can order lunch while sitting by the poolside.
Customer service was outstanding everywhere we turned. The staff must be instructed to pay extra attention to kids, because they made our 4 year old son feel very special, which is above and beyond than what we expected.
We had no complaints about our stay. If there is one suggestion that I can make to the management is to provide a little bit of detergent for the washer and dishwashing soap and sponge for the kitchen. This would have made our stay better.
We have already recommended this resort to family & friends!

good food and service, good location and facility, only thing i didn't like is little tomuch pressure in buying timeshare, should you choose not to buy. i would rather pay a little more for my particular days stayed per day then go through a lots of pressure for possible future gain. why can't they have just have fixed price per day, rather then you going through presentation and either buying something you can't afford or feeling guilty that you didnot buy despite their hard work or something like that?
--Victor
p.s. when we go to grocery store we don't pay for all the milk we are going to buy for rest of our life and then assume that because of advance payment we will drink more milk and get more protein etc.??? do we??

The architecture of the buildings and the layout is exceptional. Staff is well trained and helpful. There were no inappropriate charges on the bill. Use of the kayacks and paddleboards is free. The landscaping is very attractive. The breakfast buffet offers an extremely wide selection of food. The cost of the room was $180 for three people per night. The cost of the least expensive motel room for one person in San Francisco is $190 per night. The $180 included breakfast. The hotel was an excellent value. I rented a car from AVIS and it was not difficult to get around Cancun. Will return next year.

This is a beautiful resort and wonderful staffs. The room was clean and up to date standard. Breakfast as Davino like a super brunch. Dinner at Zamas was excellent with chef from Mexico City. There pools are super with a breath taking view of the ocean.

Room Tip: Pick the oceanview and you love the sunrise in morning.

This place is top notch, the service is some of the best we have enjoyed at any resort and that includes many in our home town of Las Vegas. We chose the all inclusive option which at some resorts gets pretty boring by the end but we enjoyed all 3 of the restaurants we visited (we didn't go to the Japanese or the beach snack bars). Jorge at Zama and Estaban at Davino ( thanks again for the Anniversary plate:) your smiles and professionalism break all language barriers. My husband had the spicy tuna at Davino and says it was the best fish he has had in years.
Hint: make your dinner reservations on the hotel web site in advance of your arrival they should email confirmation but be sure to call and confirm when you arrive to avoid mix ups.
The car ferry is just a couple minute walk on the beach very safe and easy way to get to the isle of Mujeres - rent the golf cart and its really fun to to travel around the island just stay to the far right and let the taxis pass you by. It costs about 8$ each way for a couple but take pesos they didn't want American dollars when we bought our tickets. The golf cart cost us about $50 usd for half day including gas expect to leave a license as security.
The beach is very nice and I totally love the warm water when we travel to this area, warm ocean and warm pools very refreshing no cold water system shocks.
The facilities are all beautiful clean and very well kept, the pools gorgeous and the cocktails are not watered down so be careful.
My suggestion would be to not do the time share presentation it's still a time share not a "travel club" and still very aggressive marketing tactics, it's been 30 years since we've done one and its worse then ever!
Hint: bring a tip money budget! You don't have to always tip but even the best wages in mexico are are very low and tips are very much appreciated!

Room Tip: The upper floors are usually reserved for owners and they have the best views naturally - we request...

Going all inclusive is the best vacation ever. And this hotel is amazing. The staff is very friendly and assisted with every need. The food was great at all the places. The alcohol drinks were however, watered down. (I watched the bartender make the drinks). No big deal though I am not a big drinker. I recommend this hotel stay for families, couples as it is perfect being away from the "hotel zone" hotels that party every night and are over crowded.
