We went here as part of our English Heritage membership as it was close to where we live and to be honest I have never heard of it. It is a fantastic building and has a bit of a wow factor when you see it, it is I believe one of the oldest Manor Houses in the country. It isn't that big inside but still fascinating to look round and see how the house functioned many years ago. They do weddings there and I can understand the appeal. They also have a nice little cafe if you need refreshments. Overall I really enjoyed the visit although it didn't take long so maybe visit as part of a day where you go elsewhere. You could go onto Lincoln for example and see the Castle or Cathedral.
