Have been to Jesters on several occasions. Today was to try the afternoon tea for a birthday treat. Nine of us went and admittingly the food was good but the portions were abysmal. Sandwiches were salmon and cucumber, each sandwich was the size of the slice of cucumber inside, there must have been two of these for each of us. Three of us said we were vegetarians and were presented with 4 crackers with pesto, tomato and basil , when we said it was for three of us - they brought us two more crackers, now I know why the patrons stay so slim. There were a few small breadsticks and the savoury scones were delicious but just too tiny. After the sandwiches we were presented with a selection of petit cakes of which there were scones with cream. The scones were medallion size, my husband asked the owner "how many scones are there?" to which she replied "twelve or thirteen" my husband then said,"there is nine of us" to which the reply was "well you will have to fight over the other four. Pots of tea were included but for $25 each it was grossly overpriced.
