“Wonderful place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

The grounds are really beautiful and the staff is so friendly and accommodating. We stayed for 2 weeks. The breakfast buffet was the best I've ever seen. I will so miss it! Rooms are spacious and include a spot for gazing out on the lovely scenery in a special window seat. Nice firm beds. Big bathrooms with nice toiletries. Blue bar is a great place to enjoy happy hour and watch the sunset. I also attended some of the free fitness classes offered. The instruction is just OK but worth checking out. We took out a kayak for some easy paddling around which was a nice way to see the view from off-shore. Also took out bikes and rode around the lake and explored the region nearby which was nice. The trip around the lake is easy and a pretty ride.

Room Tip: I was in 2 different rooms and preferred the 3rd floor overlooking the Blue Pool. Despite having an...

My boyfriend and I spent our joint birthdays here in late December. It was busy because it was high season, but it never felt overwhelming. The hotel itself is stunning, with immaculate service and fabulous pools and private beaches. If you're going to do Phuket luxuriously, this is what you want! There are many pools, including a swim-up bar, a white sand, isolated beach, a great spa, and awesome fitness facilities. This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at in Thailand; and I'm from Bangkok (now based in NYC). It is a resort, so don't expect to spend much time outside unless you book transportation to explore Phuket Town, but it really does have everything you need if you want a quiet, relaxing time.

Room Tip: Garden views are peaceful and quiet.

We stayed there twice already, January 2012 & January 2013. We were there with group of friends and were staying at the Villas. Beautiful resort with a beutiful sandy beach, excellent Japanese restaurant. Avoid the fish restaurant, they really have nothing to offer and the food is less than average. The gym needs more equipment and they need to put up more signs showing directions to the beach, Turtle Village, and the Lobby.

Room Tip: I would always choose rooms closer to the Turtle Village.

The best hotel we ever stayed in Phuket. Excellent service, beautiful gardens and many good restaurants, although very expensive. Three big swimming pools, with outstanding service for drinks, foods, refreshing towels and fruit platters, all free. Pool attendants at our pool (south pool) were always friendly and not out to get tips by "reserving" seats in advance. In short, very relaxing.Beach stretches for miles, and no hotels or massage parlours or bars are allowed on this beautiful beach.
Negative aspects: At the breakfast restaurant, seat covers were dirty and need a change. On our arrival the sea was too rough to enter, but even when the sea calmed down, the sea bed falls very fast and is not adapt for bad swimmers, since currents are very strong. Finally, having two children ourselves, now grown ups, we were badly impressed by the uncivilized behaviour of the many children, often of families of Eastern European origin.

Room Tip: hotel is very located in a huge garden area, so there are long walking distances. You might want to...

This resort is a really great place to relax. The outdoor areas are very well thought out and executed though there are one or two features that are starting to look slightly tired.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable with deluxe bathrooms.

Restaurants are a let down. There's nothing really outstanding to be had and some of the prices are highish. Having said that, the buffet breakfast is pretty good for selection and quality.

Staff are largely very charming, but if you need bringing back down to earth, just say hello to the gardening staff. They didn't get the Land of Smiles memo.

We stayed in this resort for four days, A typical resort hotel. Very good, busy, excellent service and setting. A mass tourism resort. Room service. Order a salad sandwich and got a bowl of salad and a bun. Poolside service a bit hit and miss at times.Tip - try the poached eggs and asparagus in the Siam Cafe...Yummie. The beach massages are better value than the hotel.
