If you like great service, great food and clean beach ,this is the hotel for you. We had a wonderful and relaxing time.

Why?
This hotel is cyclist heaven.
Hanging out in tights. Enjoy a fine glas of wine with your helmet on.

By the way we are no cyclists.
So here is the deal (Esperanza Park):
- Hotel location: next town (Port Alcudia) is app. 5 km away, make sure to get a rental car if you don't want to take the bus
- great beach at your doorstep
- 3 outdoor pools, only one heated
- small spa area - nice to heat up and relax from the day
- Various sports activities are offered, don't miss out the "paddel"-court (mixture of tennis and squash)
- apartments are spacious and clean, the big balcony is a plus, equipped for basic cooking
- overall service: friendly and helpfull but not exceptional
- 80% of guests are families and cyclists, mostly germans
- low entertainment factor, reason: hotel amenities close early (bar: 12 pm; gym, spa, pool: 7 pm)

Overall: We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It's a save bet!

Stayed a week at end of April and overall it really didn't let us down.Top marks go to the food(exceptional),the cleanliness and staff.The only areas they could improve on is sprucing up the pool area(a lot of rough paving and not as attractive as other 4* pool areas we've been to(if you like spending a lot of time at pool) and the bedrooms whilst spotless and reasonably sized just looked a bit tired and dated again in comparison to other 4*'s.Overall,for the price we paid for half board,you would find it hard to better.

We are a family of 5 (3 children aged 7,3 and 5 months) and have just returned from our 4th visit to the Playa Esperanza. We always have a fantastic time here and we have just booked again for July!
We have stayed in a variety of rooms, doubles, triples and the last 2 times in the junior suites and they are all superb. They are clean, air conditioned, have a tv and mini bar and all have great balconies, especially the suites - they are massive.
The food is excellent. There is always lots of choice for both breakfast and dinner. The restaurant has always been spotless and the staff are all friendly.
The grounds are beautiful and the beach is fab - perfect for the kids. This year it was 8.50 euros per day for the beach sun loungers. (For 2 and a shade).
The pools are great and there is a good value shop on the complex. There are also plenty of shops to look in outside of the hotel.
There is a bus service into town but this can get busy so we usually get a taxi which costs around 8 euros. If you fancy a walk its a good 90 minutes.
Playa De Muro is a really nice part of Alcudia. Its not as British as the centre of Alcudia which suits us.
I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone.
