We stayed for 3 nights at Le Sechoir de Crenuef, doing some cycling and exploring in the area, at the beginning of our holiday. We found it a fabulous place to stay and a great location on our route south. We were given a very warm welcome from Christian and Catherine, and enjoyed some delicious meals around the table sharing relaxed times with them and other guests. Our hosts spoke good English and so dinner conversations were easy going and fun, despite our limited French! The old farmhouse has been beautifully restored, the room with classic furniture and a very peaceful atmosphere. Our groundfloor room opened up to the expansive gardens. Christian was able to provide ideas and plenty of maps to help us plan walking/cycling trips in the area. We would love to return one day.
