5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2012

It is just lovely to see all the things you can buy in such a small wee space.

“What a find! To me, it is everything a village store should be.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2011

We took a walk to Port Bannatyne from Rothesay, this in itself was a great walk along the sea front all the way. When we arrived at Port Bannatyne, all we wanted was a cup of tea. We were rewarded with so much more. Not just a cup of tea, but a pot of ("Suki") Tea (Leaf's not bags) that was as good if not better than i have had in any cafe. There is so much in this "little" store, and the people who served us were not just friendly and sociable and helpful to us, but also are clearly an important service provider to the local people. I was so keen to post a review, that had nobody done one previously I would have started up one of this place.

“Outstanding port of call for sea kayakers.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2011

Fantastic coffee, hot chocolate and cake. Very friendly and welcoming to kayakers. The addition of the outside seating area makes it even better. No need to remove the wet gear a big plus. Land at the old shingle by the old stone quay.

“Drop in. You won't be disappointed.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2010

Wonderful, fresh coffee. Proper tea. Chocolate Abyss. A range of freshly-made baguettes, toasties & baking. Original artwork, gifts, ice-cream, a well-stocked wee shop. And a post office!

Sit in the window & enjoy a fairtrade Tiki Cappuccino whist writing your postcards.
