“Best animal viewing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013

This was a highlight of our trip to Tasmania. We were able to see the Devils interact and feed in an outdoor setting in the daytime. There's an area where you can walk among various native animals and birds. Some small animals such as quolls are in cages, where you can easily see then, but most are in open areas. They have an excellent open air bird show. At the same time your admission helps to conserve the Devils. They have a nice snack bar and gift shop.

“Pricey”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013 via mobile

The Tasmanian Devil Conservation park was ok, but a bit on the pricey side for what you get. At a bit over $30 pp, you'll get to see Tasmanian devils, kangaroos, wallabies, birds and quolls.

“not worth it”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

We spent about 1 hour in the park. We saw the feeding of the Devil and the kids just keep asking when can they go.
The park has very limited setup, about 10 devils on display, a small bird show, and 50 kangaroos. For $32, this is the biggest rip off I experienced, considering the main attraction of Port Arthur is the same price which includes a 30 minutes cruise.
if this park is dedicated to saving the animal, we treat the fee as a donation.

“Had a Great Day”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2012

Lots of meet the animal experiences at this park so you need to plan your day according to your interests. We saw Eastern Quolls being fed. Several chances to see Tasmanian Devils feeding but difficult to get photos because of the fencing. Kangaroo feeding time was exciting and you are given lots of food so that you can feed them yourself if you want to. It was fun watching all the kangaroos hopping over to the entrance gate to wait for the keeper to bring their food. Original bird show which was very enjoyable. Well kept grounds which were nice to walk in. We took our own lunch and picniced in the grounds. Expensive, but a great day out.

“Better than your average zoo!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

The entrance fee at 32 dollars seems a little pricey; however considering the very informative presentations during the Tasmanian Devil and Kangaroo feeding time and the Kings of the Wind free-flight bird presentation it is certainly a good 2/3 hour visit. Very different from your typical zoo visit and if it helps the Tasmanian Devil to survive then it is well worth it.
