“Favorite accomodation in Australia out of 5 different locations”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2014

We stayed in a one bedroom cottage with our own private balcony and gas grill. The cottage was comfortably furnished. The grounds were gorgeous. There is a small beach on the property. If I ever get the opportunity to go back to the Tasman Peninsula I would stay here. There is a lemon tree on the grounds, which you can pick. The kitchen is very well stocked. The cottage is not serviced during your stay. Extra towels, etc are provided. It is extremely quiet and serene.

The hosts were wonderful and beautiful people -- hospitable and helpful. The unit was impeccably clean and well stocked with necessities. We definitely recommend anyone who wants to be near Port Arthur and the surrounding sights to stay there.

A very nice option to enjoy Tasman Pensinula and avoid the tourist crowds around Port Arthur. The small village is close to everything and the cottages are delightful. The price is very good for a fully equipped, perfectly clean and cosy cottage with a lot of space. The terrace including the barbeque are perfect for warm summer evenings. The owners are really really nice, helpful and considerate and even share their garden with sea access with the guests.

This place is fantastic. The rooms are very well appointed, the property is beautiful and the location is perfect for exploring the peninsula. We stayed in Unit 1 with 2 children and it was awesome. We spent 8 days in Tasmania visiting Sisters beach, Cradle Mountain, Strahan, Hobart and the Tasman Peninsula. This was the nicest accommodation we had during the trip. Highly recommended.

We stayed in the studio room for one night in October, having spent the day at Port Arthur Historic Site, ready to travel Hobart airport for a late morning flight to Sydney the following day. The owners were very friendly and helpful. It was excellent value for money, clean, of reasonable size for two. The gardens had outside seating and a BBQ but inclement weather prevented us from enjoying them. Good location being close to Port Arthur and just an hour from Hobart airport. On the downside it did not have guest internet access and there were no open restaurants close by so we ate in Port Arthur before checking-in.

The owners here were extremely friendly and helpful and gave us lots of information on the local area.
The small studio room we stayed in was perfect for us. It was extremely clean and we had everything we needed. There was also a fantastic bbq for our private use, which was great.
The views across the bay from the end of the garden were stunning, especially at sunset.
The location was perfect for a stay on Tasman peninsula as everything was within easy reach.
We wish we could have stayed longer to do more of the beautiful walks in the area.

Room Tip: From what I could see, they're all great! :-)

We stayed for two nights. The studio room was a little small and it was hard to fit our luggage in, there was a small kitchenette (microwave/kettle/toaster) and a bathroom that was almost bigger than the actual room. There was no sink in the kitchen area so we had to wash the dishes in a tiny bathroom sink.

It was quite cold, but there was a small heater mounted on the wall. It seemed to warm the place up when we kept the bathroom door closed. The room was clean and all the basic amenities were provided.

There are 3 units on the property plus the owner's home, surrounded with a beautiful garden and a view of the lake - there is access to the water through a little gate at the back of the property. The owners are very pleasant and helpfull.

No free internet access and no breakfast available.
