“A very special place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 23, 2013

I'd been there for only an hour or so, though the atmosphere of the place is something that makes you think you'll never be the same after visiting the temples.
I don't even know if I can describe well the place, though. There's only one thing I would like to say about this is Wat Chalong is definitely worth a visit; doesn't matter who you are or where you are from, if you want to know the country, you should see this place.
Be there, see all around, feel the special atmosphere, and again, everything will be different for you after you've seen the temples, talked to the people, felt the place energy.

“Beautiful place to see”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2013

Went here twice during my stay in Chalong. Wat Chalong is a must see of Chalong the temples are truly a work of art! I would recommend going early morning or late afternoon if you want to skip the most crowded hours.

“The best in Phuket”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2013

The good thing in Phuket is that there is no admission cost. This is one temple to see and is not far from the road that takes you up to the big Buddha.

“Interesting and informative”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 8, 2013 via mobile

Great day out to see the Temple of the Buddhist. It's a beautiful temple and so beautiful inside. It's a must see. They sometimes let off fireworks as well. Remember to dress conservativly and cover up your shoulders and don't bare too much skin out of respect for them. They will give you a shawl to cover up if they think your showing too much skin and remember to take your shoes off when entering the temple. A must do.
