What an extraordinary find. This Sushi Bar come Japanese Steam Boat restaurant has opened since our last trip here (at least we did not see it last time) and is fabulous. Great fresh sushi, lots of entrees, and an automatic plate server that revolves around the restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed the steamboat which I managed to stock with everything they had going around, lovely fresh prawns, fish, fish balls, steak, and all manner of asian vegetables added to the wonderful aromas that abounded in the restaurant. Soft drinks and dessert were also included in the price and we ended up spending over 1 hour in here for the princely sum of about BT900 for the two of us or about $30 AUD. The staff are friendly and were dressed in kimonos and exhibited some Japanese courtesies as part of their 'signature'. We found it interesting that since the increase in the basic wage, which trebled in January, 2013 throughout Thailand, that so may more Thais seem to be able to afford coming into a place like this when they are earning in the order of $70 and up per week.. it is good to see the improvements.. Thoroughly enjoyable recommend this place to anyone and I hope that i have got the correct Trip Advisor address, which came up automatically. Please note that I am reviewing this restaurant that is located in the big Tesco Lotus complex.
