“A comfortable but characterless hotel if you want/need to stay in Phuket city.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2011

This is a large, somewhat characterless city center hotel located close to the old part of Phuket City. The rooms are large, clean and very well equipped. There is an outside pool which is quite large but it has no shade and little furniture. The ground floor restaurant serves quit good Asian and western food and the buffet breakfast is good. Service was very friendly and efficient.

The only thing is hotel had going to for itself is the views. All the rooms are between the 4th and the 18th floor. You have the best view in the city. There is only one other hotel that offers this in Phuket Town. We clearly saw the beach even though we were about a mile away.

The rooms were clean and large, huge windows on the outside walls to enjoy the view. Bathroom was large with a nice bathtub.

Breakfast was pretty basic with lots of fish items. The pool was also pretty basic, the only place you couldn't see the beach from but it was on the roof of the third floor.

Wifi and internet were not free and the hotel restaurant was over priced for this town.

Hopefully, we booked only one night there. Room was dirty with cockroaches and bathroom was not clean.
Staff was unfriendly, we did not print the booking for the night and the staff asked us to pay the internet connection to print it...
Breakfast buffet was not good, all the food was cold.

However, location is good as it is just 5 minutes away from the old city center.

Will never go back again.

I stayed 2 nights in this hotel and it was very nice. The staff is awesome and helpful, and very friendly. The make you feel very welcome. The room was large and nice. The bed was VERY comfortable and I slept great here. The bathroom also is large and nice. It is an old building so there are signs of wear and tear but it is well cared for and very comfortable. The provided breakfast on the 19th floor is awesome. A wide range of foods for everyone. And the view of the city and the sea is so beautiful. There is security all around the entrance and they are great too. The bus station is one block away and lots of shopping and restaurants in the area. I would enjoy staying here again.

Room Tip: I had a corner room and it was awesome, a view of 2 sides of Phuket.

we stayed in the hotel for a night...from where we'd come from it was nice to step into this hotel. the room was a bit plain but it was clean and tidy...no smells...it was good. the breakfast buffet was more than satisfactory witha nice range of nice food...not mind blowing but nice. service was nice and helpful although we didnt really call on them for anything too serious. we had a comfortable bed and a nice sleep. it served us well. it was close to the bus depot, and shops and restaurants. i think relatively the room did cost a bit but it was nice enough...nothing flash...but nice.

Clean and reasonably priced hotel in the centre of Phuket with averge food. Probably best to eat out as plenty of restaurants locally. Good car parking available. Bathroom in the room dirty generally, the hotel requires a refresh. Good views from the restaurant.
