This resort is just ok. Nothing special. I had spent hours and hours researching hotels and had decided on this one. We had a few problems on our first day and decided to change hotel and get a refund. They refused point blank to refund us but instead upgraded us. It was fine but we would have preferred to change. Karon not a great town. Kata is much nicer. The breakfast is not great. The night entertainment is the same girl singing the same songs. Food there not great. Staff were friendly enough. Pool bar is fine but no atmosphere. Pool is quiet. Not much atmosphere at all in the resort. My opinion is do not book it. Spend a little extra if u have too on a better area and nicer hotel, it will make your holiday! The room service ok. 15 minute walk to beach. Karon town itself is not great.

I do not recommend this hotell. Looks quite nice on the pictures, and is quite cozy in real live life but only after dark. The hotell has seen its better days and its about high time for a slap of paint here and there. The idea behind the place is good, but in the end theres just too many little things that isn`t up to standards they might have been when they started.. The pool is quite dirty and doesn't seem to get cleaned (lots of sand and unrecognizable stuff in it). The rooms themselves are quite OK, a bit worn down, but again the lack of cleaning is quite disturbing. Housekeeping is terrible. The overall service from the staff is generally bad..and slow. The good parts? They do know how to make an excellent Mango Daquiri though.. and the greenery is great and it doesn't get too hot up here even though its quite far from the ocean because of the wind. Oh, and the breakfast sucks.

After searching for a hotel, on line, away from the beach, I stumbled upon this little oasis. What is not to love....step out your back door and into the pool that will lead you to the pool bar. :-)
You can order room service and it comes via sampam to your door. The rooms were beautiful and the bathroom had a shower stall and a bathtub.Quite spacious with everything you could want. Upon arrival, our room was upgraded.

This was our second stay to this resort, we enjoyed it so much the first time, we decided to come back for a second time. The resort is still very beautiful, in a great location, close to the beach, markets and restaurants and the staff are still very friendly. There is one very important area i think they need to improve on and that is the comfort of the beds. Much like the first time we stayed there the beds were quite hard, but i'm sure it has got much worse. The beds are rock hard with pillows that are so hard and fat you wake up the next day with a neck ache. The alternative is to sleep without a pillow or a cushion. This is why my review has dropped from very good to average. Apart from this they offer a great variety for breakfast in the morning and the access to the pools from every room is a great and the lush gardens create a beautiful setting to sun bake and relax in. i would be happy to stay again if the comfort of the beds were to improve.
