We stayed in last week of Oct, having been to phuket 5 times and stayed at Novotel and Mercure this beats them for relaxation hands down, comfy lounger chairs on room balcony and the private pool access from our room was sooo relaxing at anytime.
I dont know what other posters are going on about the beds for..yes they are firm but just preorder a soft top and heaven, also over the last 10 years i learnt to take my own pillow to asia....wasted the extra bag space here as there are a range of soft and firm pillows for a great nites sleep.
Only thing to pick on was that the shower garden had no plants just concrete alcove..fix this for my next stay please?
Yes a little walk..10 min to town street but we needed that after all the relaxing.
Be sure to do the temple markets on sat and tues..great prices and excellent grilled goodies just the yummiest food!!
Oh and John the tailor at the front entrance is a great guy,good tailored clothes at the right price and not a pain in the you know what like 90% of the phuket tailors!!!

just recently returned from a 10 day stay at this hotel (14/10/12 - 24/10/12). i was very impressed with the room that we stayed in (blue wing). beautifully decorated and the access to the pool straight from the back of your room through the patio was just amazing.

The front of the hotel doesnt really justify the beautiful hotel that it is as you only see this after you've gone past the reception and on to the grounds towards the rooms.

All your room service come via boat which makes it even more quite romantic.

Staff at this hotel are really friendly and accomodating and the cleaning staff of the rooms i must say are AMAZING. Its always spot less to its T after every clean in the room. So i obviously had to tip big coz i was very impressed.

The cleaners will compare with any 5-6 and 7* hotels ive stayed in around the world anytime.
The hotel is about 20mins away from patong however if you want to relax and stay away from the hustle and bustle then this is the place, very pleasant and quite and would definately recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel, staff really friendly and helpful. Very clean, tidy and comfortable and close to everything, just a short walk to shops, bars and great restaurants. Check out the Red Onion and Karon Cafe. Taxi 150 Bht to Karon beach.

stayed at pool access for 3 nights in October 2012. staff were very pleasant, pool at your back door was nice, but tricky getting in & out. Also be careful when re entering unit as tiled floors can be slippery.

Would not recommend for elderly or obese people as very difficult getting in & out of the pool from your unit porch.

beds are very hard , and bathrooms need updating .

Breakfast was ok, and next door they have a great Beauty Clinic.
