Nice and Comfortable hotel suitable for honey moon couple or family. There is a big swimming pool and private beach which you can feel private and enjoyable. The room is nice and tidy , Breakfast was lovely, all staffs are friendly and helpful, the amenities are superb . I really want to go back again..

Stayed here as it was close to the airport and it was our last night in Thailand .

It was very quiet as it was the off season , they treated us like gold and we felt like we had paradise to ourselves , the room was amazing, and the staff were fantastic (if only us Australians could run a resort this way) Shame we didnt have more time as I would have loved to do the Thai cooking class.( (They have a Fantastic menu) The Staff drove us down the other end of the beach for a night of dancing with the locals at the small strip of bars located about a K away (you can walk the beach it takes about 5 mins) You can also learn to kite surf here.
The Next day it was just a 10 min drive to the airport so it was all so easy.
I noticed they were doing great deals on functions and weddings during the quiter months which would be a great idea as its still great weather and great value
I will be back

We stayed there for one week in August last year. Beautifull hotel with great service! The thing that we really loved is the french cook, who lead us into Thai, French and Fusion Cuisine with a love for his job that could be really felt.
Management is french-lead and extremely reliable and efficient
Beach was ok, as a river was flowing just in Front of the Hotel, but it was supposed to be solved in the beginning of 2011.
Massages were extremely both friendly and professional.
The only dark point was the tailor, who clearly screwed us on the quality of his services and artwork

We stayed in one of the private pool villas while the rest of the group stayed in the rooms.Great service from pickup to leaving for our next destination. We were there over the low season and they gladly opened the games room for us though the bar stayed shut. The pool area is magnificient as is the beach restaurant. The hotel meals were faultless, fresh and so damn good. The staff were all helpful, but this is endemic in Thailand in quality hotels like this. The bad points were the distance from 'civilisation' so for a young group of friends not ideal. You can walk down the beach thru a small river to a row of beach shacks and bars though not great coming back in the dark.So overall a fabuloous place but ideally for couples and/or families not young people out to party, swim and enjoy a cold Chang.Ah the pool has lanes leading off from it to the rooms so easily accessible.

Room Tip: near a pool lane.

We arrived during the worst flooding southern thailand had experienced in years, so we ate our way through the initial 5 days of our holiday! Francois, the chef, cooked up a storm, from his sumptuous breakfast to his superb lunch and dinner menu's nothing was presented to us that was not excellent, thank you Francois for the fantastic gastronomic experience, nothing disappointed! The hotel itself is relaxing and the rooms spacious and clean, very thai in style which was wonderful, the luxury suite with pool access was well worth it and the kids used it rain or shine! The beach although not a great one for swimming is stunning and makes a pleasant back drop for the walk to the local village Nai Yang, where there are bars, restaurants (Royal Indian was fab!) and shops offering everything one needs on holiday, especially good as far from the madding crowds of Patong! All in all a first class holiday that we all enjoyed, we would recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: pool access is a boon with children

We only stayed 1 night on our way home as it was close to the airport, not sure whether I would have liked to stay any longer.
We stayed at 4 other hotels on our trip and I really can't fault any of them but this one just didn't feel right.
The arrival is wonderful, although it really is quite remote, the view and luxurious feel of Adamas is lovely. We were all given the most beautiful flower bracelets I will always remember.
The rooms are lovely and rich, traditional feeling with the best bathroom. We had pool access rooms and I was very disappointed with them. I was really looking forward to this but was a bit insulted at the state of the pool from our rooms. The pool honestly felt more like a pond, for some reason it was only half full which meant it came up to my knees, as it was so shallow it was very warm and added to that it was not clean and felt like a fish pond.
This is really unacceptable when you pay extra for something that is just yuk.
Their main pool was lovely though. Having stayed at several hotels on our holiday I noticed there was no where near as many employees at this hotel even though it was probably the most expensive.
I had read about the beach situation so was not surprised at seeing it. It is still lovely although far away and probably more of a drain than one might expect. The water you need to walk through to get to Nai Yang looked a bit nasty as I had a blister on my toe and didn't want the water anywhere near it. It might sound petty but the wooden ladders they had for us to get down to the beach were truly pathetic, just old bits of wood nailed together and when looking from the beach really made the resort look like 2 star.
I'm not sure why but it just didn't have the comfortable feel of every other hotel we stayed in on this or really any other trip. Added to this they have these fish ponds at the door of your room that stink like a dirty drain, not sure why they think there a good idea.
Having said all that the staff were very nice and helpful.

I found this hotel using Trip Advisor, which I found very useful. It was a beautiful hotel, particularly the grounds and location, with a private beach. I found the location was both the best and worst feature - it was in the middle of nowhere, so away from the awful Patong crowds and truly relaxing and beautiful. However, it also meant you were a bit limited with where to eat (and the hotel food was quite expensive), visit etc, and it became very expensive and tiring to travel to "civilization" (although taxis are cheap they add up). I think it is really a personal choice. Personally, I would go again for a few days to relax at the end of a trip, but probably not as the main hotel.

I must mention we had a problem with having no hot water for the first day and a half (not nice after a 10 hour flight). The reception staff weren't very helpful and made us feel bad for pestering them about it, and it took quite a while to fix. We did get a lovely meal and apology from management which was really appreciated. And the rest of the staff could not be faulted for their fantastic service and friendliness.

We got a really cheap deal for this hotel (approx 3700THB) , so our expectations were blown away :)
