Fabulously trendy hotel! I loved it!
The hotel has been recently redesigned to take the theme of the tin mine that it used to be with amazing rooms and wonderful bars/restuarants/pools. The detail right down to the toilet role holders in the rooms is exceptional and you spot different things as you walk around the hotel. we stayed in the plantation villas which were amazing. Outdoor bath and our own garden area. the room itself was quirky and very private. All the pools were individual and fun, we liked the features and design.
Food was fab in every area we ate, especially the Rivet Grill, first class!
we tried our luck with the cooekry lesson from moo's Kitchen and met a wonderful Chef called Oiak. she was the highlight of our trip and helped us learn some thai specialities, a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon and a wonderful lady.
It was low season when we went so the beach was quiet and we usually like sitting on the beach more but when were there, there were a lot of sandflies which have a nasty bute and meant we stayed away most of the time, but do head down there for some great local food and drink.
overall I highly recommened this place for all, there is something for everyone!
