Most reviews have captured it well. Hotel is 5 minutes from the airport. The Tin Mine theme is done well, a nice blend of modern and contemporary, with a touch of Thai. If you want traditional Thai, go elsewhere. Great atmosphere at this hotel. There is a short 15 meter walk to go from the hotel property to the beach (across a narrow road). Once at the beach, you are treated very well (towels, ice water, cooling cloths, fresh fruit). Sand is soft and clean (although yellow, not pristine white). Sea is clean. Adult pool well designed, seat ledges in the pool, laydown beds in the water, swim up bar had the best Mojito's I've ever had. If you don't want to pay high prices for food and drinks at a pool, stay at a 3 star hotel - this is a 5 star hotel.
Pros - location, staff, atmosphere, pools, food, grounds, rooms (we had a plunge pool).
Cons - signage (where to find your room could be improved, the grounds are very large, but they do have an electric cart to transport you).

We stayed here for 4 nights in May and really enjoyed our stay. It was quiet when we stayed so that was an added bonus for us! The rooms are lovely, quite funky and different. We ate in the really nice restaurant one night It Rivet Grill The Scallop is the best i ever eat and the Chef very friendly came to talk and present food by him self. We usually went down to the beach and ate somewhere along the beach on the sand though. The adult pool was lovely and we took advantage of happy hour (cocktails were quite expensive otherwise!). I found the staff quite stand-offish..I couldn't figure out if they were trying to leave you alone or not interested..to be honest that was our only gripe. The beach was really lovely, water lovely to swim in and it's definitely worth taking a good long walk along the beach. I would highly recommend staying here for a treat!

Hubby and I made a last minute booking to go to Phuket. We are now living in Kuala Lumpur so we have the benefit of low cost flight to Phuket via AIR ASIA. Total for the flight was around RM1,000 or around US$ 280 for both of us (2-way). This is cheap considering we booked 3 days before the trip.
Next, I had the dilemma of choosing where to stay. If you look at Phuket, it has gazillions of hotels to choose from. Luckily, I have had good experiences from fellow Trip Advisor people who gave their reviews. Si decided to trust TA and just read the top 3 popular hotels. Indigo-Pearl came up as a top choice at that time when i was doing my research so i gave it a try. I read most of the recent reviews. Then i searched for best deals. Luckily, I checked the hotel website and they had this "SIMPLY EXHALE" package which is so worth your money! We booked the package which included 3days/2nights stay, free breakfast, 1 free dinner, and airport transfers. This turned out to be a great decision.

It doesn't end there. I placed a comment on my booking that I am pregnant 3 months and that me and hubby are celebrating our anniversary. I wrote them a follow-up email after we booked online via our credit card, and I requested if we can get a free upgrade if possible. They said they will do what they can.

When we arrived.... we were upgraded to a Plantation Villa which was superb!!! Not only that, we received a bottle of champagne, plus chocolate cakes that were oh-so-good. It also came with some fruits. We were so contented with our choice of hotel.

The overall hotel architecture and design is very interesting. It is rustic yet modern... with lots of metal everywhere. We found it very nice and clean. The area is big yet small enough to discover by foot / walking. We enjoyed the dinner at Black Ginger -- which served authentic Thai cuisine (we were very stuffed!). The breakfast spread was very good and impressive, considering me and Hubby have been to many, many 5 star hotels and resorts. The staff were helpful and friendly.

One note though, you need to check your charges when you check-out. As part of our Simply Exhale package, it included 20% off discount on all food and drinks that we consume in the hotel. The reception lady forgot to deduct the discount on some items and we had to have a small discussion with her to have it corrected. She consulted another lady and it was corrected finally. So just be careful and check your charges and appropriate discounts.

Hubby tried the jungle trekking which the hotel offered. He enjoyed it! As for me, i wanted to go with him but the hotel didnt accept bec i am 3 months pregnant. Our activities were a bit limited bec of my situation. In the end we tried the Cooking School at PUM's (which is 45-mins away from the hotel) and we loved it.

There was also some small restaurants outside the hotel where you can get some fresh seafood at affordable prices. We took fish and some tiger prawn at Octopus. And we found the prices quite reasonable. The food was good too.

By the way, during the time we were there (JUNE 6-8) the weather was so so perfect. the sun was sooo hot. It made the pool water and sea water at good temperature. I have never seen such a place with so beautiful hot weather and i loved it!!!

Overall it was a nice weekend getaway for us.

A heavenly place to spend our honeymoon - if relaxing, swimming, watching sunsets and eating delicious thai food sounds good to you, you will love this place and there is hardly a reason to leave Nai Yang or the resort! At Black Ginger has the best Thai food in Phuket - we went back three times, even though it was a little bit more expensive than the local restaurants. We also enjoyed bargain thai seafood on Nai Yang beach at Octopus Cafe and cocktails, coconut milkshakes and green curry at Mama Mia's. I would highly recommend the poolside Thai massages, go for 90mins and drift away! The staff are amazing, bringing cold towels, glasses of ice-cold water and fruit to you as you laze by the pool. They even mended a dress for me and returned it to the room in about 20 mins! We stayed in a Garden Pavilion Room, which was very luxurious. The air conditioning is a nice break from the midday heat, the giant bed is comfy and the big outdoor bath and lounge chair are great for lazing around! I can't rave about it enough!

The hotel had v.friendly and helpful service personnel and v.good facilities. The rooms, pool, beach, restaurants everything was realy good and impressive. Food was also good. A resort where you can really relax and at the same time enjoy the various visits to nearby islands.
