“Quiet and relaxing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2012

We stayed here for 7 nights and from the minute we arrived were made to feel welcome. Staff were fantastic and would like to say a special thanks to housekeeping who did a wonderful job.
Included breakfast was great with plenty of options. Adult only pool and kids pool was another nice feature also good gym. Large resort so probably not going to appeal if you are looking for a boutique hotel. Indigo has a private beach area where you walk out the back of the resort and cross the road to the beach where you can order food and drinks from the resort, beach towels, ice pops and cold towels were provided which was a nice touch. Good massage at the beach entrance. The area around Indigo is very quiet and not a lot to do so would recommend for someone just wanting to spend a bit of time relaxing at the resort. Nice room with bathtub on balcony and very comfortable bed. Plenty of hanging space and drawers for clothes. Enjoyable stay at Indigo Pearl.

Hi
We stayed 15 nights with our 3.5 year old son, we were a bit nervous of taking him to Indigo Pearl Phuket out of a NZ winter but we should never have worried. We had a great time, he swam all day in the big pool and then visited the wonderful kids club. The women running the kids club were lovely and very helpful, remembering our son's name and what he liked. We took his plastic bike and he rode around the resort to the surprise of the Thais. We ate out a few times at Black Ginger and as big fans of Thai food we rated it high. The free wifi was another plus as it made keeping in contact with grand parents and family no issue and allowed us to download more apps to the iPad for the boy seamlessly.

Room Tip: We upgraded to a Premium Suite as it offered more room when sharing with a 3.5 year old

i booked this hotel as a surprise for my husbands 30th birthday...and boy was he surprised.
i will start off with the airport service, we got picked up by a friendly young lady and taken to our hotel in the hotels vehicle, it was lovely and we were given drinks and towels as we travelled. the check in was quick and simple however when we arrived a storm broke out which meant we sat at reception for 20mins, however it was nice to soak in the beauty of the place. the room was beautiful, the bath outside, the little details and the decor was stunning.
the restaurants were lovely and the food was excellent and quite reasonable. the beach is very quiet, i liked this however my husband felt it lacked atmosphere. the hotel is situated about half an hour from phuket town, but taxis are so cheap it doesn't matter.
the pools were lovely and service was excellent, drinks and free fruit provided.
i would also like to recommend Moo's kitchen, it is such a lovely experience cooking thai dishes and the chef and her staff are amazing.

overall, book this hotel, you won't be disappointed, it is simply stunning...enjoy

We recently stayed for 10 days at Indigo Pearl Resort and had a great holiday. The resort is set out over a large area of landscaped grounds and fits into the surrounding areas in a peaceful way. We ate at the Tin Mine restaurant for breakfast and this was a 10 minute shaded walk away from our room. The room, with a huge bathtub on the verandah on one side, and a large day bed and table and chairs on the other, was lovely. We ate at the resort on three special occasions and it was fantastic, but most nights we would go down to the beach front and eat at one of the restaurants set up on the sand. We will go back again. The cocoon spa massage was the best treatment my husband has ever had. We hired a car and driver twice to do our shopping and sight seeing and that cost about $60. Lovely place, lovely people.

Room Tip: We stayed in Block O, which was near the beach entrance and near an adults only pool.

We stayed at the Indigo Pearl for 11 nights on our Honeymoon and I just wanted to tell everyone WOW!! We stayed in a Private Pool Pavilion which was very spacious. It was great to have an 8sqm private plunge pool in our courtyard. The room also featured a nice soft King Bed and the ensuite had a waterfall shower head. The attention to detail in the hotel was second to none from the beautiful water features to cutlery they used with spanners on the end of them. It is a real tribute to the Tin Mining history of Phuket.

We ate at all of the restaurants in the resort. Black Ginger was just amazing but my favorite was the Rivet Grill - one of the best steaks I have ever eaten in my Life! The Day spa was just amazing, so beautiful and amazing service. We were treated like royalty for our entire stay. From the bottle of champagne and fruit in our room on arrival (Honeymoon Package) to all the staff saying hello every time you you walked past them. This included the reception staff all the way down to the house keeping staff. We would highly recommend Honeymooners to stay there, or actually anyone... you must stay there!

The hotel food prices are a little more expensive but that's what you expect in a 5 star resort. if you are money conscious there is a little village on the beach front with many restaurants and they are cheap with good food. See you again soon INDIGO PEARL!

Room Tip: Private Pool Pavilion

We had our wedding at the hotel last year. If you are looking to stay at the hotel, the hotel is truly beautiful. Great rooms and fantastic service. The grounds are stunning.

If you are looking to have your wedding there, please go somewhere else. We had a horrible experience for our wedding.

We booked the wedding package there and went over the details with the organizer. Then 2 months in, she quit her job. OK, so that happens. We went over the details with another organizer. 2 days before the wedding, she told me that she won't be able to assist us so we got transferred to yet another person. This person had no idea about what we wanted, since she was the 3rd organizer to take care of our wedding.

1. When the golf car came to pick me up, they were not told that they shouldn't drive in front of all the guests, so they drove the cart with the bride in front of the whole wedding. No big entrance at this wedding. You can imagine how awesome I felt for my husband to be and all the guests see me for the first time going around in a golf card.

2. Then as I was walking down the aisle, half way in the wedding organizer stopped the music. Why??? I don't know, so I walked the other half of the walk without music. This was really bad enough, but this song was my tribute to my father who passed away. You can't really do your wedding walk twice you know....

3. The wedding organizer had no experience and training. The guests were sitting in the scorching sun, no umbrellas, no shade, no special touches.

No one came to ask for rehearsal, no one came to make sure the music was ok. The organizer said that she stopped the music because the speakers were bad...we just paid thousands of dollars to have a beautiful wedding and they didn't even bother to check the speakers before?????

I can go on and on, but my point is that we had a small wedding - 20 people. After a complete mess up from the organizers, we didn't get an apology or anything. 3 organizers later and the mess that the events team created will forever remain what I remember of the wedding..

So do yourself a favor and go to the Laguna Chapel (a place we were considering) or the Kata Noi hotel where they have events teams who know what they are doing. This is a very expensive hotel, so to have an inexperienced events team with 100% turn over within 1 year is unacceptable.

A wonderful experience in Indigo. The good impression comes from the beginning... two baby chairs prepared in the car and two sets of baby shampoo and shower prepared in our rooms, very considerable and surprising...
