“BEAUTIFUL but food is pricey!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2011

One of the most beautiful places I have eve stayed... Well worth the money.. the Breakfasts are amazing!! I just wish that this was an all inclusive hotel. I found the meals very expensive. So we went to the beach for local food instead of getting dinner on the resort.

This has been my 5th time at the indigo pearl and never disappoints. Friendly staff. Stunning decor. Fab food. Room service was great. All the restaurant menu available at anytime! I made use of this when getting at 5am after a night in Patong!! Well worth the stay. Hotel pool is better then the beach. Beach not that great but the beach bars are good value for money for great seafood, Thai food, beer and spirits. Shop around for the best deals. I found the best deal with kendwood travel or ask about upgrades at the hotel. Don't book a transfer from airport. Just get a metered taxi. Cost only 200BHT.

stayed at indigo pearl late september. the staff were terrific and while the resort is large you can get picked up at anytime in the buggies and moved around. the gardens are just beautiful and so well maintained by a vast staff. the breakfast area is very pleasant and the food selection excellent. while it rained most days we were there, we still had long periods of sunshine to enjoy the excellent pools and the beachclub. phuket town and patong beach are close enough to catch a taxi when you need a shopping hit. We enjoyed the AFL grandfinal in the Aussi Bar at Patong Beach.
local eating outside the resort. The oyster restuarant was disappointing but Phens was exceptionally good and the prices great. ate there regularly.
As a beach lover and walker my biggest disappointment is the amount of rubbish that is allowed to build up on the beach and in the surrounds of the national park. No where near as bad as Patong Beach but it seems with a litttle more effort the beaches really could be as pristine as the appear in the brochures and the resorts would get greater repeat trade.
Overall we cant wait to go back to just relax and enjoy the thai weather and people.

My hubby and I came here in Sep 2011. We like this resort as it is very clean and peaceful. However, the wifi in our room was not working.
We had our spa in the resort and we enjoyed ourselves very much. Although the spa is quite pricey but we feel that it is worth it.

We would love to come back again.

This place is amazing. We really enjoyed our stay at IP, it was the first time that we took our little boy on holiday and as such stayed in a pool pavilion room in case he decided to have a bit of a play up. The room and pool were great but the only downside was that you never actually got any sun in the external area around the pool but this didn't matter much though because our boy loved it at the resort and only wanted to play in the kids pool - don't worry if you don't have kids as there are two pools for adults only so you don't have to listen to other people's brats! The breakfasts were always good as were the few meals that we ate at the hotel restaurants (rivet bar and grill). I would defiantly suggest trying the local resturants on the beach we ate many times at Phens restaurant which had good, cheap food and cold beer. Dum the owner was amazing and always came over to see our boy and take him for a walk (this is a bit disconcerting at first but Thais are extremely child friendly) and even fetched him balls and toys to play with (he was 10months old at the time). The girls at breakfast were always very friendly and helpful and again used to take a great interest in our boy, again taking him for walks around the restaurant/ lobby areas. Another great experience that I had was being invited by a local fisherman to go out and collect the squid pots and place new ones! This was a great experience and the fisherman wanted nothing in return, he did own the seafood at Nai Yang restaurant so we naturally went to eat the fresh squid that we had bought in that morning. All in all my wife and I thought that we were in the best area of Phuket as we would have hated it further south near Patong. We can't recommend this hotel and the local people highly enough - we will be going back very soon
