“Good to talk to but !!!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2013

Wine too expensive. Ordered Pizza which came from down the road. One with the lot ! Got cheese and onion nothing else. Told him to feed the last half to beach dogs. Hope he did. Very friendly fellow, been through the tsunami with lots of pics and photos. If you want history go visit Mr Kobi !

“Cant beat this place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2013

Great food, service and Mojitas! We eat here every time we visit Nai Yang. Something special about eating sea food on the beach that has been caught the same day.

“I prefer all the other restaurants”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013

I dont know what the hype is about with this restaurant.

It is overpriced and the food is good but much better in all the other beach restaurants.

It is very divey to look at and lacks any ambience at all. The only thing going for it is they photos of the tsunami on the walls, but other than this it is really shabby.

“we speak broken english here perfectly!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013

A trip to Nai Yang beach in Phuket wouldn't be complete without a visit to Mr Kobis .
A small beach bar and restaurant, we have been regulars at Mr Kobis for the last ten years.
Food is delicious and cooked freshly, prices are logical and its great value for money. Mr Kobi and his wife Mali are the most wonderful hosts and really make you feel at home. nothing is too much trouble for Mr Kobi and his staff. Try Mr Kobis special Mojito...best I have ever tasted.
Candle light on the beach, great food and a great host, who could want anything more?

“Great restaurant along the beach at Nai Yang”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2013

Mr Kobi bar and restaurant is another great restaurant along the beach at Nai Yang.
Most of the menus at these restaurants are pretty similar and the food is superb at every location, Mr Kobi is no exception and good value as long as you stay away from the wine list in my opinion.

My recommendations are the squid satay, papaya salad, massaman with mussels and finish off with the local delicacy of banana with coconut milk. Take your wife or girlfriend, enjoy a Singha beer, leave a generous tip and still have change left from 1500 baht

Mr Kobi will also tell you of his rebuilding exploits after the Tsunami struck the region in 2004.
