We stayed in a 3 bedroom Ocean view apartment (which Robert upgraded for us, thanks so much) and it was absolutely stunning. It was beautifully appointed, clean and very luxurious. We had a lovely night there before our daughters wedding with the 3 bridesmaids and my husband and I stayed there the night after with our son so it was fantastic to be right on the water and be able to see first hand what the weather was doing all the way up to Point Vernon where the wedding was to be held right down to the boat club for the reception Robert was very helpful and courteous with all our needs and questions. Will hopefully be back sometime for a weekend away. Thanks again.

Room Tip: Top floor has great views and so easy to access with the lifts directly into the carpark.

Stayed for 4 nights in a 3 bedroom apartment on the 4th floor with ocean views. The manager, Robert, was very helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed the area. Close to everything we needed and the fish and chip shop next door is well worth a visit. The apartment was very spacious, which is important with 6 people sharing. Everything was very clean and well appointed. We had a washer and dryer so no problem to have clean towels. Lovely pool and bar-b-que area, but with all the eating places available we did'nt get a chance to use the barby, maybe next time. I would highly recommend this property, great value for money.

We stayed here for the Hervey Bay Triathlon weekend. We had a 2 bed/2 bath unit. We were tucked around the corner so the "ocean views" weren't great but still a lovely outlook. The location was brilliant - just across the road to the beach. Lots of little cafes and restaurants within walking distance (try China World for a great feed!) and for us, a great spot to view the bike and run legs of the triathlon (and within walking distance to the staging area). The unit had a few little maintenance issues which we reported at the end of our stay but these did nothing to detract from our stay itself. Our child enjoyed the pool area, nice and shady. The unit itself was quite spacious (balcony not overly large) and the kitchen was well equipped. A little bit of road noise and the lorikeets were extremely noisy but we just closed the unit up and doing this muted the sound. Really enjoyed our stay here, staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend these apartments and would stay here again.

Room Tip: Probably not worth paying extra for "ocean views" unless higher up as even though we had a...

We had one of the two-bedroomed apartments with some water views. While the apartment is a bit tired and could have done with some fresh paint and a couple of minor maintenance issues (hair dryer in ensuite had come away from the wall, towel rail was loose and one of the cupboard doors in the kitchen didn't shut properly) it was clean with everything supplied. The rooms were spacious and bed comfortable. The host, Robert, was very friendly and helpful. There are some lovely walks along the Esplanade, with shops, restaurants and take-away cafes close by. There is a good bus service which stops just outside the apartment block which runs to two shopping centers, the Boat Harbour and even into Maryborough. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

We booked a 2bed apt with 'sea views' but were tucked around the corner overlooking the rusty roof of the buddhist place next door, when I enquired about being on the front of the building was told they were all 3bed appts, wasn't told that at time of booking. we found the place not clean to '4star' standard. the cane inserts in the furniture were full of dust,[ thank goodness we're not asthmatic!} marks on the walls ,hand marks on sliding glass doors, balcony furniture dirty, curtains in 2nd bed torn & hanging on floor, some decent cooking utensils would be good, shower rose in bath1 clogged with calcium & the floor covering in the lift needs attention. the lounge suite looked grubby ,carpet in bed 1 dirty. when I told management there were cleaning issues, he said 'if I'm not told I don't know', fair enough, then why not inspect at least once a month. on the good side the appts are spacious,& HEAPS better than Great Sandy Straits appts in every aspect. one thing I did forget, we were there 7days & never got clean towels.. had to wash them myself !!!

We had a 3 night stay early March. A nice welcome by Robert and check in was easy. I had emailed direct prior to make an enquiry and then booked with him straight after.
Like most places there will be good , bad and neutral comments. I will start with the good as they far outweight the not so good.
Apartment nice and spacious and well laid out. Bed very comfortable and sheets nice. Full kitchen if needed, we didn't. Only ate breakfast there and had all other meals out. It was a nice place to stay with the beach directly across the road and anything you needed was within just a few minutes drive.
The lesser comments now. The bathroom (shower mainly) is getting tired as is some of the paintwork in the main hallway to the lounge. The entry door to the apartment needs a good paint job to really freshen it up. Doesn't come under luxury level scruffy like that. My worse thing was our apartment was poorly cleaned. Still had spill marks on the kitchen floor and cupboard doors plus bathroom floor , and the TV screen hadn't been wiped in weeks by the looks of it. Glass table tops and bedside lamps etc also needed a proper clean. A real shame.
We had an issue with the toilet not working one late afternoon but Robert attended to that promptly while we were out for evening meal. If all had been clean I would have given it a 5. I would go back as although that part was disappointing it was not a deal breaker.
