We stayed here for two nights while walking the Shropshire Way and the Offa's Dyke Path with friends, and occupied both the rooms. The B&B accommodation is in a lovely cottage to the rear of the house, with its own entrance, and is in the middle of the Conservation Area. There is a small courtyard garden, full of flowers. The owners could not have been friendlier or more helpful - they gave us great tips on places to eat, good walks and local sites. The rooms are very comfortable - one has a huge en-suite bathroom, the other does not have an en-suite, but has sole use of a shower room and separate WC. There is also a very comfortable lounge (but note - no TV)
Breakfast was excellent, with cereals and fruit, full cooked breakfast, and toast with jams home-made with their own fruit
The location is perfect for walkers, with a great variety of footpaths going straight out of the village, and there are some very good places to have tea and cake when you get back from your walk!. The B&B has a selection of leaflets available with walks of various lengths.
