“Perfect little getaway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2013 via mobile

We came back here for the second year running, and again nothing could be faulted. We stayed at the Barn as it was a lovely boutique B and B near The Eden Project (as we went to the Eden sessions). We arrived and were served Cream Teas in the garden, as it was a lovely hot day. The bedrooms were lovely, bed was fabulous as was shower - and rooms were prepared to a high standard! Breakfast each morning was around the dining table, with the other guests which just added to the experience! Ginny was a fabulous host, nothing was ever too much and always gave you any information you needed. We will definitely be coming back to Boslinney Barn! Thanks for your warm hospitality Ginny!

5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2013

We stayed for two nights in June in a party of 6, taking all three rooms. This is a beautiful B&B which is probably very hard to beat. Ginny is an absolute delight, making us extremely welcome and comfortable in her home. She is a mine of information and went out of her way to book us tables for dinner, check timetables etc etc and whats more she knocks out a pretty impressive breakfast as well! Thanks Ginny.

The rooms were all spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated but it is the attention to detail that makes them all stand out as exceptional. Ginny's impeccable taste gives a quirky boutique feel to each of the rooms - just lovely. The Barn is set in a peaceful location with lovely views from the garden over open countryside. Two of the rooms have direct access to the garden and the arbour is a perfect spot for a cup of tea or evening glass of wine. There is also a comfortable lounge which guests can use.

The Barn's situation makes it an excellent base to explore this part of the coast. It is located a short distance from Mevagissey which is well worth a visit. Guests should follow the directions on the Barn's website, rather than relying on the sat nav which will take you through the town where the tiny narrow streets are not for the fainthearted.

Boslinney really is a gem.

Room Tip: All the rooms are lovely

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at Boslinney Barn and can't praise it enough. Ginny is a fantastic hostess, full of good humour, local knowledge and Bonhomie. Her breakfasts were both splendid and healthy. I was touched when the white wine we had brought was unobtrusively put in the fridge to chill and a cooler provided. Boselinney itself is in an idyllic location, beautifully furnished with very comfortable beds. I can't praise it enough. We will be back!

Room Tip: All 3 of the rooms are excellent.

We can't praise Ginny enough, what a fantastic host, her attention to detail in everything & thoughtfulness was absolutely perfect. Everything about Boslinney Barn is truly amazing, Location - perfect for a get away from it all break. Welcome - we were met with the offer of a cream tea, great after a long journey. Room - absolutely beautiful, ( Ginny I will be back for decorating tips !! ) immaculately clean, plenty of space, great en-suite, comfy bed and so cosy - it was really cold out side. Breakfast - beautifully cooked and plenty of extras - fruit /cereals /toast. What more can we say - PERFECTION . Thank you again for making our Anniversary stay truly special. Dawn & Jon

We were looking forward to going back to Cornwall, despite the cold weather, and Ginny could not have made us feel more welcome or provide a better experience.

She welcomed us as though we were long lost friends, and once again provided that balance between being an attentive host, and letting us enjoy our break.

The food was fresh and and cooked excellently.

We look forward to going back again in the not too distance future.

Room Tip: Stayed in 2 of the 3 rooms now and nothing to choose between then. Both excellent

I really don't think that you could better this experience, the accommodation, location, breakfast and host.
The decor is so good that it's charged us both up to do some changes to our own home. We just can't fault anything and Ginny is a fantastic host.
If anyone marks this place down from a five then either something went wrong that was out of her control, or, they want something for nothing.
We stayed to go to The Eden and will be back next year to visit the Lost Gardens and Eden again at a different time of the year. Ginny's advice on where to eat and what to visit was spot on, perfect.

Boslinney Barn is a fantastic conversion, one of those homes you feel fortunate to be able to stay in. Ginny is a lovely host (not least because her first words were "Is it too late for a cream tea?") and made us feel completely relaxed throughout our stay. We were in the red room, beautifully decorated and the memory foam mattresses are beyond comfy - I slept for nine hours straight the first night, eight the next. Cannot recommend highly enough and would definitely return.
