We unfortunately stayed at the Andaman Cannacia for 11 nights in July. The staff are soooooo unfriendly we had upgraaded to a villa spa and the money just wasn't worth it, there are many nicer places closer to the beach and with better service than this place. Our room did not have hot water, the toilet over flowed on many occasions and they took their time to fix it, also the sheets in our room were dirty with bad cigarette burns on many occasions. I was so disappointed and really wish someone had written an honest review of this place before we went. We checked at early. I met a friend over there and she checked out early as well. We also met some guests at the hotel who were staying at the Cannacia and they found the same problems, they were from China (Teachers from an International school). As I say terrible, find some where else!!

Fantastic hotel, with superb views over Kata Beach. We had a Villa Spa, comfortable and relaxing. Nice pool area, friendly staff and fairly good food. Was unaffected by Tsunami beacuse of it's location. The walk down to town is all downhill, so the walk back up is not for the fainthearted! We also ate at Sawasdee Restaurant in Kata, which was brilliant.

A beautiful hotel with a gorgeous pool area and tremendous views of Kata Beach. Although it's a 15 minute walk to the beach there is a free minibus service several times a day from the hotel directly to the sand. We stayed in a Villa Spa room - very private with a romantic spa and garden shower and sea views. Kata Beach has got to be the nicest one in Phuket.
