I was looking at several dive centers near Kata Beach in Phuket to do the Open Water Diver course and this one got my attention not for the number of reviews but the quality of the reviews. Now I can also confirm that it is true and I can recommend Scandinavian Scuuba Doo for everyone who wants a professional and fun diving experience.
The story goes like this: togheter with my wife I did the SSI Open Water Diver course having Kjell as instructor. From the beginning we found out the planning for the 4 days and also that we can spend another day in the pool if it is needed without extra costs to practice the skills required to complete the training. We actually needed that extra day in the pool because my wife had problems breathing under water without the mask and Kjell was very understanding and encouraging. He had a lot of patience during the entire course, explained very well the theoretical things we needed to learn and had always safety in mind both above and under wather. After the 3 days in the pool we had 2 very nice days on the boat doing 6 dives totally (I mentioned the 6 dives because most of the diving centers I've loked at are doing 4 dives). The boat we used was named Jolly Roger and has it has nice staff, very good food and conditions on board.
The flexibility of SSI learning system and the competence of Kjell made this a very nice experience and we are very happy with the outcome. I will definitely book my future diving trips in Phuket with Scandinavian Scuuba Doo and once again I highly recommend this diving center for the quality and professionalism of their services.
