“Brilliant atmosphere!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2013 via mobile

We have been here a few times during our stay in Kata, all Thai food is 99 baht (around £2) and is so nice! Mojito and gin and tonic were 99 baht also on offer. The live band are amazing and along with the friendly staff who always thank us for returning makes this place a must visit!

“Yumm yumm the best thai meal & service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2013 via mobile

Other travellers recommendations took us 2 the Opera. Paneng & mussaman curry outstanding value+taste, as were entree satays/spring rolls. Boys loved burgers+pizza. Homemade sauce+mayo great. Mojito v good & piña colada as good as it gets. Great entertainment & owner first class host. Do yourself a favour & go to cafe opera - at least once. We'll be going back again!!

“Beautiful atmosphere and talent; that leaves you wanting more”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2013

The atmosphere in this fantastic cafe/restaurant is astonishing. Not only is the menu along with cocktails fabulous, but the staff are even better; friendly, welcoming and leave you with a beautiful impression of the Kata Region at it's finest.

I am yet to mention the amazing music, played by solo artist Niño and accompanied by many companions. The talent that is produced is remarkable and keeps you wanting more, it truly is unexplainable. The interaction between the musicians and guests has a natural vibe throughout the whole restaurant.

Although I was only in Phuket for 8 days, the beautiful talent I met in this place has left me with many heartwarming memories, I hope to visit again and have the same experiences.

“Nice food, Great Live Music”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2013

Pros:
The live band is great.
They make a mean burger (something that has been hard to find in Thailand)
The staff are friendly and welcoming
The food is reasonably priced for the location.
Delicious dessert - apple and cinnamon spring rolls.

Cons (only minor, but worth noting)
I ordered a seemingly simple stir-fried vegetables in oyster sauce and found it way too salty.

I was drinking water for the rest of the evening to try and flush out the salt.

Probably just a one off though, I would eat here again and my husband loved his burger!

Really good place for food, drinks and music.
We ate from their thai menu and were really surprised of the quality - very good!
Service also very good with waitors smiling all the time.
The live band they had made the atmosphere extra nice.

Thumbs up!
