“Just a place to crash”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2013

Nothing special.
The beach is a 2 minute walk, which ist good. You have to go around another resort though to get there.
Getting to town is just a kilometer through a narrow road over a hilltop. The taxi cartel really lets you bleed. Locationwise therefore on the one hand not so good. On the other hand it's relatively quiet, as it isn't really affected by the noise of all the touristy places in town.
The only two service requests - to fill the minibar to what it said and to replace the battery in the safe - were not followed at all, although promised to get done right away.

“Big, clean rooms in a busy place, but the staff aren't very nice.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2013 via mobile

I was sick for two days and basically didn't leave my room. The beds are big and comfy and the rooms are quite nice and bright. We had a view over the mountainside. However, the bathroom in our room, and in our friends' room smelt like something had been left floating in the toilet for a long time and only flushed just before our arrival.

Our friends asked for the battery in the safe to be replaced, the safe was removed, but never taken back despite numerous requests.

There is no breakfast available, not even for purchase, and the surrounding area is quite touristy, and therefore expensive. I asked reception how much a taxi to Friendship Beach costs, they called a friend and told me it was a non negotiable 600 baht. I walked 50 metres up the street and the taxi stands starting price was 400 baht. So bear in mind, the hotel staff are trying to make a bit extra on the side.

If you plan on using your room as only a base this is a good option, but I'd look for something a little further north. Otherwise stay elsewhere and day trip to here.

“Perfect place, perfect beach!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2012

Great value for money. Spotless, comfortable rooms and lovely staff that go out of their way to help! Highly recommend if you are looking for a cheaper option from the other expansive accomadation around Kata/ Kata Noi area. Only a two minute walk from the beach, this place is perfect. We travelled with our 3 yr old son and the made us feel very welcomed and even brought in a spare very comfy roll away bed for him! Awesome restaurant just out the front door and to the right ' Ta Restaurant'. Make sure to order a delicious Panang curry and the awesome Piña Colada's should get an honourable mention.

“Value for Money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2012

I was staying at the Kata Noi Pavilion, and must admit that it is a great value for money.
I paid less than 60 Ausd, and the room was great... and the beach is the most beautiful too.
Bon and Pui, the 2 receptionist are very helpful.

I hope to be back someday
