The Cross Hands was recently closed and refurbished.
Before the refurb, not somewhere I would bother to try,(from past experience).
Now....,decided to give it a try, and we have now eaten there twice in as many weeks.
Outside, its looking good, with a massive car park.
Inside, its smart, light and clean, with well spaced tables.
The menu. is varied and reasonably priced, with 'special menu' three nights a week. I think it was a steak night, a curry night and something else which escapes me,,sorry !!
Its NOT an expensive veuvo cusine hotel...... its cheap and chearfull.
And no, the staff are not Ritz trained, but they are happy, helpfull and obliging.
SO, its low cost, good food, good beer with happy staff and we will be back.
Cross Hands is on my "where shall we eat tonight" list !!
