“Aore Adventure Sports & Lodge is adventure plus”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2013

My husband John had just completed his Padi dive certificate before we came to Vanuatu. He booked his first dive with Paul from Aore Adventure Sports & Lodge and was very uncertain about diving the wreck of the SS President Coolidge due to never having done a deep dive before. After meeting Paul, he felt that he was in good hands, and Paul's right hand man Alfred #1 who has dived the wreck many thousands of times. He did the 2 dives on the Coolidge, with a delicious morning tea supplied by Lyndall in between them. I can't dive, but we booked another dive tour to the submarine nets & Cindy's Reef, and I went along with them to snorkel. I was absolutely thrilled to see a Green turtle and was able to swim along behind it for a while, before it sped off into the deep blue. It was the highlight of my trip. The accommodation that Paul and Lyndall have built would be perfect for dive groups or families. Thanks guys for a great time. Sue & John

“Diving with Paul, Lyndel & Alfred #1”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2013

We stayed at Aore Island Resort for five nights in September, and dived with Aore Adventure Sports. Myself, the wife June & two sons (16y/o Jackson and 13y/o Clinton). June hadn't dived for a while, and the kids, especially Clinton, were fairly new to diving. Paul & Alfred made it so easy for them. Nothing was a rush, everyone felt comfortable, and the diving was great. No murky or cold water, no strong currents to swim against, and heaps to see. It was the perfect way for the boys to gain more experience and have heaps of fun at the same time.
It was also a big plus being on Paul's new boat, "Full Boar" is a fantastic boat for diving in these waters. It is roomy, comfortable, and FAST! You are at the dive site before you know it.
Also thanks to Lyndel for the after-dive snacks. No sorry snacks is not the right word, more like gourmet lunches!
Paul & Lyndel had just finished their bungalow on the edge of the water when we were there. As we had already booked at the Resort, we didn't stay there this time. It looks perfect for a large family group or a dive group to stay in. It has three separate bedrooms, and it's own kitchen. And if you don't feel like cooking the Resort is just next door.
Can't wait to do it again, I thoroughly recommend it.
Regards, Stuart Davis

“Aore Adventure Sports & Lodge AMAZING!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2013

Stayed at Aore Resort for a week in October.

Were fortunate to be recommended to Aore Adventure Sports & Lodge as my Sister loves diving. I decided to join them on the boat and just snorkel on the surface instead, what an experience..! Couldn't have been in better hands....

Both Paul and Alfred have extensive knowledge of the wrecks and the history of the area. Alfred has done over 13,500 dives to the Coolidge!!!

This certainly wasn't another charter dive boat experience. I can honestly say they specialise a unique adventure.

It's personal and it's fun!, they're safety standards are important to them and you're flying over waves in a Stabicraft boat listening to great tunes through their Ipod!

The lunch provided also exceeds your expectations, serving canapes, fruit and gourmet cold meats in baguettes with salad, followed by delicious lemon/passionfruit tarts, that melt in your mouth and bananas that taste like bananas use to!!

Cannot wait to come back and try the champagne sunset cruise, or a ride out to the caves, or a day trip fishing or a visit to one of the other islands..or... or.. ...., their options of accommodating you are diverse and personal and this is what distinguishes them from others!

Thanks guys, you made our holiday more memorable!
