“Arrived as strangers.. left as friends”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2012

Boak House is THE place to stay if you are contemplating a trip to this beautiful part of the Cornish coast. The wonderful owner Bridget, made us feel very much at home and the complementary Gin and Tonics in the conservatory overlooking the harbour was an inspired touch. All the rooms have a sea view and are simply but tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean. Breakfast the next morning was a delight especially as the sun had decided to shine and the choice of organic cereals/fruits/nuts was impressive. The only downside to our stay was that we had to leave!!! but we will be going back again soon.

For anyone reading this review, do not hesitate, book now for the best B&B in the UK. You won't regret it.

Room Tip: All the rooms are excellent

This is the cream of B&B's. The best I've ever stayed in and the hospitality was the icing on the cake.

Idyllic location, lovely rooms, probably the best Cornish Breakfast you'll eat and Bridget, the warmest, friendliest and welcoming hostess you could wish for.

I will definitely come back to Coverack and there's only one
Place I'd stay. 5*****

A beautiful B&B, perfectly situated with views above Coverack harbour. Charming modern rooms, clean lines and very comfortable. The hostess is a real gem attending to everything. After a hard days walk along the coastal path, we were greeted with gin and tonics and nibbles. Nothing was too much trouble and the quality of breakfast was exceptional. I wouldnt hesitate to stay there again as I was made to feel very welcome throughout.

This is a beautiful B&B located in the Coverack Village on the coastline of Cornwall.
If I hadn't been there wouldn't have known there are places as beautiful as Coverack in UK. A very small village on the Cornwall Coast where probably every one knows everyone.
That been said about Coverack, Boak House truely reflects what Coverack is all about - Very nice people, big hearts and love for all. Bridget, our hostess (and her cute lil dogs) is an amazing lady; clearly her aim was to make sure her guest have the best possible stay. Always happy to help you out with whatever you need and more than willing to go an extra mile.
The room we stayed in had amazing views of the sea and the Conservatory was almost overlooking the sea with a big Patio in front where we enjoyed a good cuppa .
The breakfast is too much and is too tasty.

If I get a chance to go back to Cornwall, would definitely be booking this B&B for most part of my stay. I cannot point a single issue with this one.

Thanks a lot Bridget you left a stamp on our hearts.

The walk up the hill was a bit breathless but so was the view from the house. Totally worth it.

After staying in Boak house, I just don't see myself staying anywhere else. The hostess is the sweetest and most friendly lady with a big smile and bubbly personality to welcome you. The rooms are simple yet beautifully decorated with incredible views onto the sea.

Having breakfast on the conservatory Overlooking the bay was just breathtaking and so relaxing.

Would I come back to Boak house? Absolutely! Without a single hesitation.

I came away from a night at Boak House thinking that Carlsberg don't do 'bed and breakfasts', but if they did, then this would be what they would do! Where do I start. The location is a beautiful Cornish village on the Lizard Peninsula. Boak House has commanding views of the village and coastline. We were welcomed by the wonderful Bridget, the resident owner. Bridget was great fun and offered wonderful homely hospitality. We were really made to feel welcome in her house. Breakfast was a five star delight. The food was gobsmackingly good.
All in all I thought that this was one of the best bed & breakfasts I have ever stayed in. After 10 days of walking the Cornish coast path, staying at Boak House was one of the highlights of the whole trip. Thank you Bridget.
