Having all day meetings over 4 days, in my office in the marousi area, I chose civitel as an alternative to driving home (60-90 mins) in the south part of Athens. It did not disappoint. Clean rooms, polite service, superior cuisine. Cannot comment on other facilities as I only spent evenings there, but overall it represents a viable alternative to the downtown and kifissia options. Will certainly recommend to colleagues from abroad for their next visit.

Easy to get to from the airport, the room was comfortable and clean all services worked, although the aircon was not very efficient. However, since it is winter that's not a problem. Hotel staff spoke good English and were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. All in, very good and would recommend.

I stayed at the Civitel in September 2012 for business and will be returning for another trip in January 2013. I will definitely be staying at the Civitel and would certainly recommend it to others. The beds are comfortable and the room/bathroom are clean. It was easy to get to the hotel from the airport, as it is conveniently located across from the Golden Hall. All of the staff were willing to help and accomodate in any way possible.

The hallway outside the room was covered in water as the air conditioning was leaking. The room itself is fine and very modern. It is obvious though that the hotel was built in a rush to accomodate the Olympics. We didn't have breakfast or dinner so no comment. I only stayed one night prior to having surgery. the room was comfortable and very close by are two malls that have good restaurants and shops.
