We stopped by Rochford Wines and Restaurants during our tour of the Yarra Valley. The restaurant has some great ambience with lot of rich wood work. There is open seating as well closed seating. Tables are very well laid for a proper 4 course meal. Our first course were "grazers"...basically and assorted platter of different types of cheese, mushrooms, brochiolli and other boiled / grilled vegetables. Bread was very nice. Had a beet root risotto. Very large helping . Could not finish it all but was very tasty. Finally had nut-pie for desert...perhaps the best dessert I have eaten in Australia so far.
